This thing is an absolute game changer, its cooling effect is the only reason I got it. Best feature is it’s small (at least for me) it fit under my 29 inch desk. The vent is adjustable & I like how it’s on wheels. It’s very easy to move around. I wouldn’t settle for the 6,000 BTU unit as it’s the first thing I got. Returned it so fast & spent the extra 50-60 so dollars to get the 7,000 BTU unit. Worth every penny & it cools down my medium sized room very fast. The vent hose is easy to install & had it up and running in 15 minutes. I did read some reviews on the noise level, it is very quiet. I don’t know what people are talking about. It’s nothing like a noisy window unit & this one is actually adjustable & on wheels. Can’t forget to mention a review I read about the power & how it can cause lights to flicker when the AC kicks on. I haven’t had that issue either, but I have to mention on how easy the drain plugs are to reach & how fast I can drain them. I just disconnect the vent hose & roll it outside & jut unplug the cap & dump it ( No it does not require water) . I know everyone does it differently but sure is the easiest method. If you are worried about the clips and disconnecting them. Don’t worry lol, it’s very simple and easy. People probably get impatient & break the clips. It’s actually quite simple. There is little tabs & it just bends up and you apply little to medium pressure and they snap into place. It’s not rocket science. Imagine a house in Southern California that doesn't have central AC while working a fully remote job that requires your PC to be pretty much at full power most of the day, practically turning your home office into a Finnish sauna. This AC unit was definitely overkill in an attempt to keep temps colder, since it's meant for greater square footage. This also means it's far too loud for such a tiny space. But when used in the living room, despite the loud noise, it's great. No need for draining a condensation tank since it auto expels any water through the exhaust if I read the literature correctly. It's a bit bulky but the caster wheels makes it easy to move around. The exhaust tubing is a little stiff to shape and I wish the window bracket was easier to properly fit in a vertical slot but overall it's pretty good for its price. ... show more

This unit does its job overall. It is quite loud, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a truly quiet AC unit. The set up was easy, but I didn’t find a good way for the window attachment pieces to be held together, so I had to get creative, and there are a lot of gaps. It’s a large machine, but I love that there’s no water to deal with. It does take a good deal of energy to operate it. My lights flicker when it kicks in. I also love that this product offers a dimmer option that turns off the dashboard lights while I sleep. The remote is a little confusing, and I still haven’t figured out how to pair the app. It was relatively cheap compared to other ACs options, and after two days with it, I feel like I have gotten my value for the most part. I just wish it was quieter, though I wouldn’t say that this one is particularly loud- just that ACs are noisy. ... show more

Very affordable price. Good quality construction, with wheels for portability, which are necessary as this unit is heavier than it looks. Easy to install with an “onboard “ display that is simple and functional. Since this is an indoor version of a window air conditioner, you can expect to hear some noise, but definitely not unbearable. So when you’re trying to sleep the fan loudly turns on and off throughout the night.
