Out of the box I can barely hear the compressor, so that is five stars right off the bat. Most of these things rattle, this one doesn't. It's quite light and I had no problem carrying it up the stairs. The install kit is well built and sturdy. It is pulling about 800 watts in steady state and producing a 30 degree temp delta between supply and return which is amazing. There is a little bit of a split-brain problem between the main unit and the remote. I turned it on and put it on fan then I put batteries in the remote and used the remote to try the "dim" function which turns off all the lights. That kicked it into dehumidifier mode because that's what the remote wanted. That was a little jarring, but the controls on this are very simple and I've been in plenty of hotels where the PTAC in the room has the same split-brain problem with the control on the wall - so not unexpected. I'll come back and update later if it fails prematurely, but so far I am very happy with it. Great performance for the size and price, easy to lug up the stairs, and I didn't have to use a condensate pump with it. ... show more

I bought this MORA 6,000 BTU portable air conditioner recently, and it has been fantastic! Setup was incredibly easy — I had it running within 15 minutes. It cools my room quickly and evenly, and the noise level is very low, making it easy to sleep or watch TV without any disturbance. The design is clean and modern, and it doesn’t take up much space. I also love how easy it is to move around thanks to the wheels. The control panel is intuitive, and switching between modes or adjusting the temperature is super straightforward. It came with absolutely none of the parts needed to set it up correctly. I’m serious, it just came with the AC unit and not the 10 items the set up manual says you need. I called Amazon and they said they could send a replacement and pick up mine but it wouldn’t arrive for over a week and a half, and it’s brutally hot in California, so I settled for a $70 partial refund and went to Home Depot to get what I needed to set up the rest. 2. It claims it shouldn’t drain, but it absolutely has to. I had to order a drain hose from Amazon after waking up to massive amounts of water ALL OVER MY FLOOR. 3. It turns off and on throughout the night and is extremely loud, so it constantly wakes you up. 4. The buttons on the screen are extremely bright, so it lights up your room at night this is cheap and i regret purchasing this ... show more

I’ve been using this A/C unit in a small 12’ x 14’ bedroom for about a year now. Cooling performance is good and the noise level is what I expected it to be. It’s not quiet by any means and the only annoying part is when the compressor first kicks in. The compressor cycles in a strange manner that I haven’t yet figured out. It may have something to do with energy efficiency and/or the condensation evaporation feature as I don’t have to use a drain hose. This portable AC is AMAZING!!!! I live in Arizona and I rent. My AC went out and the company my landlord hired, took a week to fix it. Because if that, I had to get something to keep from over heating until the new ac was fully installed. Unfortunately every portable AC I was reviewing on Amazon were all over $350. I saw this offered next day delivery and had a 5 ⭐️ but only had 25 reviews.. I decided because of the price I would go a head and took a chance on this AC unit. SUPER GLAD I did too. It’s AMAZING. This is a great air conditioner for the price. It cools down a medium-sized room very quickly and while it is a little on the loud side, I view that as a plus because I need white noise to sleep. Also, a big plus - no draining a tank! You can't beat this for the price. Definitely recommend!

Cool! What Mora can I say? Hisense cool rooms in your future if you get this AC. It is cooling a small room no problem, two fan speed settings, neither are too loud. The vents are manual, not automatic even though the remote has a "swing" button. The evaporative drain seems to be working. Much cheaper than local stores. Install was easy ... show more

On a 95 degree day, unit could only cool a well insulated 200 sq ft room down to 82 degrees while set on lowest setting of 61 degrees after a 24 hour period. Also, unit mysteriously shut down after a couple of hours. I finally determined that the error code displayed indicated that the unit had to be manually drained of accumulated water, even though the product description clearly states that this is not necessary. Total frustration and deception! Notice that in the product pictures, not one displays the back of the unit since this would reveal the bottom position of the drainage outlet. Good luck connecting a drainage hose and getting gravity to flow water upward to a bucket! Other than not cooling efficiently and having to drain periodically, the unit was great. Very eye-appealing & nice remote. Pretty quiet. ... show more
