The firmness will be perfect for my growing daughter. She has been sleeping on a twin pillow-top spring/memory foam hybrid mattress for the last few years and has complained about it for a while, but likes the memory foam mattress I've had for years. I've been using the 6-inch mattress for more than 3 months now. Overall, I'm satisfied. I use it in my living room on the floor for my son and his friends to sit and get comfortable while watching the TV or playing video games. I also sometimes sleep on the same while watching something on the TV during the weekends. It's comfortable for its thickness and provides decent support to the kids. Since it is on the floor and when I walk on it, i do feel the shallowness of a 6 inch mattress but that is something that I always knew as well. One thing I've noticed, though, is that the corners (not the edges) aren't very sturdy. When I sit or lean on the corners, they tend to compress more than I'd like, making them feel a bit unstable. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it's something to be aware off, especially if you are also planning to put it on the floor instead of on a bed. The anti-slip bottom helps to keep it in the same place even on the floor and is a good thing to have in such a situation. All in all, it's a solid mattress for the price, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for something affordable and comfortable. ... show more
