I bought this for embroidering tea towels with iron on transfers. There is a ton of variety of color and it is good value for the money BUT . . . these are "basic" quality for simple things like the easy tea towels or friendship bracelets. If you're thinking of doing one of those amazingly complex counted cross stitch pictures or some other advanced project that you will be slaving over I would get the more expensive high end embroidery thread. ... show more

I’ve got no idea about embroidery. Absolutely none. But I do know how to sew and was able to embroider my partners college graduation cap with it! My old qualm is it unravels pretty easily which can be a nuisance.
