I love this hooded blanket/jacket! I ordered one to try it out. After wearing it for 1 hour, I ordered two more: One for my cat, who absolutely adores it and wouldn't leave me alone so I bought one for her own use, and a second one for myself in case this product suddenly becomes unavailable. This is the warmest and softest item of clothing that I own. The material unexpectedly retains my body heat such that I am truly toasty in my 64° home. I wear it now all the time, and really appreciate it. Particularly, while working at my computer. The material is cut such that it covers from the top of my head, down my back, to below my rear and the long wings of the blanket totally cover my arms and extend below and warm my knees when I am seated at the computer or my desk, piano, etc. The hood is so large that I can double it back on itself, providing even more warmth. I don't bother with the buttons under the arm pits, as they're not necessary and it's easier to put the cloak on and off. I treat the item as a hooded shawl more than as a jacket. I love the pockets as hand warmers. My hands are always cold and interfere with typing accuracy, as well as feeling miserable. A few minutes of putting my hands in the conveniently-placed front pockets, and my hands are warm. Something that has never happened with any other jacket that I have worn. There's something about the manufacture of the material that really holds the body warmth in. Whatever. I love this item. I'm going to buy two more. I can't imagine not wearing this item in the future in my house, which stays cool even in the summer. I also look forward to keeping my propane bill down this winter. It's late November and I haven't had to turn on my furnace yet. I even sleep in this jacket. I really appreciate the hood, which keeps my head and neck, shoulders and arms, actually my entire torso, warm and toasty. I can honestly say this is the best $25 I ever spent on an item of clothing. I wouldn't say this look like some high ticket item, but it's lovely and soft and washes like a dream. Be prepared to either sew the button holes up a bit, or buy bigger buttons, whichever is your preference. The button holes to make the "sleeves" will simply not stay buttoned on the one I have, but that's an easy and quick fix. I will say you can easily size down. I'm tall and a big gal, and it swallows me, so I could have done with one size down, but I do like the big "comfy blanket" feel, so I'm not unhappy with that factor. This is also a really pretty color in person, maybe a little more shaded to a rosy tan than it portrays, but close enough, and lovely. Definitely happy with this purchase! ... show more

I’ve had this for less than a week and I already ordered another in a different color. I didn’t get it to wear out, but to use when I’m home, especially sitting on the sofa. It is perfect! Nice quality, very soft and cozy and it keeps me warm but given the great design I can toss it open when I warm up too much. I like the length (below knee on me) because it’s long enough to do the job but not so long it gets tangled in things. The buttons make it very flexible and versatile. It so nice to be all wrapped up and yet be able to slip my hand out of the side to grab the remote. This is basically a cozy blanket with form. Because of that form you can stand up and walk around with it, hands free, or you can easily slip out of it and leave it on the sofa if you prefer. I’m just loving it! I don't do a lot of reviews unless something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This blanket poncho is an exceptionally good one. When I first opened the poncho, I wasn't impressed. Even though it was shrinkwrapped, it came out of the package wrinkled (from being folded) and the blanket pile was smashed flat. But I put it in my dryer on low and let it run for about 10 minutes and now it's beautiful, fluffy and soft. I'm in my 70s and I'm a "fluffy" woman. I'm about 5'7" tall and wear a 2-3X in clothing. I wasn't sure this poncho would even fit a plus size woman. So many are made to fit slim people. Be assured, this poncho will definitely fit you as a plus sized woman or man. It's quite huge. It goes almost to my knees in length and my arms are completely covered to my wrists. Actually, this poncho would even fit someone much larger than myself. This poncho has 2 buttons on the front for closure and 1 button under each arm so you can button them and it's kind of like sleeves. I love the huge pockets in the front. Big bonus! I bought it on sale for $24.99 and I love it. I'm wearing it right now sitting in my recliner and I'm toasty warm. If your house is a bit chilly, or even if you need a wrap to wear out, this is it! ... show more

As a hooded blanket, it works well. It's warm, the 'sleeves' come down to my wrists, and the two front buttons keep it closed nicely. As a poncho, however... Not as much. The front comes down to my knees, but the back only comes halfway down my thighs (and the seams were centered on my shoulders, so I know I didn't have it on crooked). The asymmetry towards the front feels awkward to me; I'd prefer it the other way round, with the back long enough to sit on. Since I purchased this to have something warm instead of a coat to wear when going out, I am disappointed that the poncho aspect is so lacking. It does make a cozy wearable blanket, though, so I'm keeping it for that use. Although I might have wanted to pay less if I'd known of it's flaws. ... show more
