    • I've been using this one with new package for 9 months. Way creamy and easy to rinse off.
I've been using the old Paul Mitchell ESP elastic paste for about 9 years. I began purchasing at a local hair shop and later purchased at a local online shopping mall. And I found that the normal consistency would be creamy or not thick. I also purchased a number of these at Amazon.com and, to my delight, all of them were soft and not hard. The one I am using currently is the second one with new packaging purchased at Amazon. When I opened it, is was just like cream cheese and when I put some of this on my finger it felt very soft. I rubbed them on my fingers before applying to my hair. As for the old ones, this new ones are very easy to rinse off. I think it is necessary to dry your fingers before touching this. As I use it daily, it seems that it becomes harder and significantly hard and sticky finally. I think it would be related with exposure with water and I began to dry my fingers before I apply this on my finger and it seems that this prevented it from getting hard significantly. Now I'm going to use my second one and I think I would order other Paul Mitchell products as well. ... show more
