  • First success on amazon!
Size: V360
Hello , as you can see this is my first bought product on Amazon, and I'll be doing a first time review . If I miss anything in particular or things I have missed to talk about please feel free to tell me... So let's begin!.... The Patriot Viper V360 headset. This is a very good headset probably one of the impressive kind for the price you pay. Inside the box there is the headset and the insurance along with some stickers and etc inside a well basic made letter of viper. The plug is USB but it doesn't reduce the sound quality. Very easy to plug of course. The buttons of the headset are bass, led and volume and they are all on the headset behind the left speaker, rather than on the cable , I'll let you decide for yourself what's more suitable for you. The speakers of this thing...almost felt like having a jet on my head!, or a space fighter on a space jet... Basically its funny that's it makes you look ridiculous , but its worth it trust me! You get a 7,1 virtual surround on a high level and it can go loud don't worry about that, the bass is very impressive especially when you use it on dubstep and remixes Is it immersive? Hell yes! Very Immersive . What about the mic? The microphone is a built in sharp enough mic. I know I used a 15$ and its microphone was sharp for the price . this one is abit higher than the last one since my friends told me they haven't notice much of a difference However you can adjust the mic vertically only but its far enough from your mouth so don't panic . Flip it down and it will unmute Flip it back in the headset and it will mute itself. You can also adjust the headset with a software feature such as realtek . allows you to adjust the speakers, mic and sound quality to your liking. The LED button enables LEDs on the speakers . now it looks very impressive when viewing it and its decent in the dark, but for me its just a decent gimmick So far I am satisfied with the headset but that's because it suited my needs and it is comfortable to my head but I should mention some important notes so you won't buy the wrong headset. The headset only suited from small to medium head sizes If your head is large enough to make you skeptical and worried , don't buy the headset . the pads are well fitted of course thought they need some factory adjustment as they have a bit of pressure but just a lil bit you will barely feel it . Also if you are a mic masochist and can't stand only 2 way vertical adjust then I have no choice but to tell the headset is not for you... Again were talking about a 40$ headset, and its a great of it's kind for the price. Feel free to check the description...again, if you are still skeptical... : P ... show more

Size: V360
Hm, I guess I'm the first to be reviewing this so I'll try to explain why I gave it the stars I did. First things first I ended up returning the headset because it made me ears hurt after wearing them for an hour. I'm an avid CoD Black Ops 3 player so I need to have a headset that allows for 6+ hours of use. The very first time I tried them on, I could tell it wasn't going to be comfortable as I had to keep repositioning the headset to find a comfortable place for the band to sit. Note that I do have a bigger head than most people so take this with a grain of salt. I'm only knocking off a star for discomfort since most people probably have a smaller head than me, so that won't be an issue. SOUND: For $60 the sound quality blew me away. I've used Astro A40's and Logitech G35's which were both $150 headsets at time of purchase. These beat both of them as far as audio quality. The bass boost is a nice feature especially in Cod where I need hear every little noise. I listened to multiple genres of music from Dubstep to Rock to Pop to Hiphop. It played all of those with balance and I thoroughly enjoyed the soundscape. It's warmer than the Astro's and G35's which I love. I also played some Skyrim to see what another type of game would sound like, and I could hear all the layers of sound from the environment. It's a truly great sounding headset for the price. I suggest this headset for those of you that don't have a large head. If you have a large head, then you're gonna run into some ear discomfort unfortunately. I would buy these again in another life... ... show more

  • Not bad, for the price.
Size: V330
For 25 bucks, they're okay. The fit- I have a big head. With most headphones I have to put them at the largest size to make them fit. With these I only have them halfway and they fit great. The cups fully close around my ears, my ears don't rub up against anything inside, they're comfortable enough to wear for hours. There's no thin little plastic bits either, so I don't see any danger of these snapping. The ear cups don't rotate if that's important to you. But, at least on my head, they fit great without needing to. The headband has a lot of flex in it, I was able to twist it around pretty good and never felt like it was going to break on me. Sound quality- Not the best. They're very quiet. With my old headphones (Another $25 pair) I could keep them at medium and everything would be fine. With these I have to keep them at max and still raise the volume in game a bit to get to the same levels. But once I got them loud enough nothing sounds tinny or hollow, things sound like they're supposed to. I'm sure if you're an audiophile you could find things wrong, but if you really care about sound quality you'd have better headphones. The mic sounds good as well. I've used these on my PS4 and Xbone and everyone said I sound fine. If they were just a little louder I'd easily give them 5 stars. ... show more
