I've had this collar for 2 years and up until a couple of days ago it worked perfectly. It helped completely change my dogs attitude without the worry of her feeling any pain from it. It's great that you can choose what mode and when to use it. The sound worked more than the vibration so I definitely recommend it! The collar is a little bulky, but I hava a Chiweenie so, of course it is! It worked for 2 years and the issue is just the remote. The collar still works but the remote no longer does. It will turn on for maybe 10 seconds then turn off. I've charged it so it's not the battery, it hasn't be damaged in any way, it just died? Do I have to buy an all new set or is there a way to just get the remote? I just don't need two more collars and it's kind of expensive so I'm hoping there's a way to get just a remote!

Great product! This is my second purchase (the first collar still works as it should after approximately 2 years). I needed 2 more for my other dogs to correct unwanted behavior. I mostly use the beep and vibration button and it gets their attention. It's a great training tool when used correctly.

I don’t like that it’s only has one setting for the beep, vibrate, and shock. It would be nice to control each at a different level. I need the noise and vibrate at a 7, but accidentally shocked my greet Pyrenees so I put tape over that button so I didn’t do it again. Otherwise I love this training collar.

These collars are awesome but as a dog mom I do have some things to consider before buying. We originally had the plain black pat pet electric collar but ended up getting another smaller dog so the receiver was too large. We got these because we wanted both our dogs on the same remote. Battery: felt that on the collars, it didn’t compete with the previous one we had, needs to charge it at least every 5 days while with the other ones by this brand we didn’t have to charge the collars until about 2 weeks after wear. The remote battery life is great though! Lasts forever. Size: they are really light weight, sleek and the purple color is awesome. We have a 20 lb dog and the size of the receiver is perfect for her neck. Functionality: we have a severely reactive rescue. The collar was essential in training with him because it was able to snap him out of defense mode so we could work on that behavior. With the previous collars by pat pet, I felt confident that it would do just that. With these ones I feel like the vibration is much lighter, the electric current is much weaker and then sound is so much quieter. All in all, I think these are great for a decent price but it also depends on what your use is. For our small dog with training it has been awesome, for our larger much more reactive dog I think we unfortunately are going to have to go back to the other model.

This product works great! It is effective for our dogs' behavior and the batteries hold their charges for a surprisingly long time. We have used them for two years and they have held up well to our dogs' very active outdoor ventures. They play-fight hard and run around under our big shrubs. Our 75 lb. dog finally broke the spring contact that we use to get through her thick fur. I emailed the company to order a replacement, but they sent two for free! Chloe was very helpful and pleasant to work with!
