These collars just work. Not a big shock which is perfect for my preference. They are super durable, built to last. Remote is nice size and also durable. The range is excellent reaches across our home and through walls. No need to pay for the expensive ones that just break, this is the one to get for small or medium dogs... even large dogs possibly. Great product, works very quickly. I recommend not using the shock unless you really can't get anything else to work. The beep as a warning then the vibration is perfect. Helps our puppy stop himself before barking at other things in neighborhood or being aggressive with other dog in house. Be careful as I imagine the shock will really startle your pet! Try the easier ones that don't shock first! They do work well!

Our last training collar stopped working after a three year stretch (which I can't complain about) so we needed another one. It's easy to pay a lot for these but are they worth it? Not sure so I purchased this inexpensive one. Seems to be well-built and fits our dog well. The collar is very adjustable so it'll fit all medium to large dogs. The three button controller is easy to operate. One thing worth mentioning: both units require batteries (not rechargeable). The collar requires a tool to change them (included). These are not cluel instruments of pain. We never have to push the "shock" button because she obeys every command when the collar is on. The two pronges remind her it's on. She only needs to wear it when outside. You can test the "shock" on yourself if you have any concerns. It's very mild, even at a high level. Some reviewers have complained it stopped working after a short time. We've had it a month and use it every day - so far, so good.

I purchased the PATPET Dog Training Collar with Remote hoping for a reliable and long-lasting training solution for my furry companion. While the collar initially showed promise with its three training modes—beep, vibration, and shock—the overall durability has left me somewhat disappointed. The main issue I encountered is the lack of longevity in the product. Edit: longevity has been retored with great customer service) After a relatively short period of use, I noticed a decline in its performance. The construction doesn't seem to withstand regular wear and tear, and certain components began to malfunction sooner than expected. While the three training modes are effective for behavior correction, the overall build quality of the collar leaves much to be desired. It's disheartening to invest in a training tool only to find that it doesn't hold up over time. If you're considering the PATPET Dog Training Collar for your pet, be aware that the durability may not meet your expectations. While it may work effectively in the short term, the long-term reliability appears to be a concern. (Edit: Bumping up to a five star review as customer service was very involved and happily offerd a replacement now my dogs are following directions and having great training success!.)

I've had one of these before with good results and had to replace it after a few years. This one lasted about 2 months when the shock feature stopped working altogether. When emailing the company about the issue, I never got a response after receiving a generated email requesting further information. They said a response would be given within 48 hours for a replacement but as of 3 months, I have never gotten that email OR product. Bought a replacement from a competitor.

I like how easy it is to use. I love that it has 3 settings so that my power gets 2 warnings before I have to zap her. She is a huge dog and only 7 months old. I've had many compliments about how well behaved she is for a puppy. She doesn't jump up on people, she was bad for this. She doesn't rub our of the yard and when she gets the first warning, she knows that she should stop. I haven't had to shock her in a long time!

We have a golden retriever puppy. The first couple weeks when we got her, she was extremely mouthy and teething. Instead of toys, she was coming for us, clothes, anything in her reach. I bought this with no intentions to shock her, but our shock doesn’t work either way. I tested both the vibration and shock on myself before putting it on my puppy and the vibration and beeping is perfect for her to get her to stop doing things she is not supposed to. BUT as she grows, the vibration only goes so high. She is already at a 5 and it helps, but it only goes to an 8, so I don’t know how much longer until she is used to the 5-8. But the SHOCK does not work AT ALL. If you are looking for a big dog, or specifically a shock, I wouldn’t recommend this one, but great for puppy stages so far! The adjustable collar is also very long to fit the sizes of dogs that this accomodates, had to manipulate it through some of the existing holes, so it wasn’t a long tail hanging from her neck.
