  • Dog Door
Color: Black Size: Large
Excellent dog door. So glad I made this purchase. The French door style is different in that your dog needs to push directly in the middle so that both doors open simultaneously but if that doesn’t always happen, my German Shepherd is still able to get through on one side because the unpushed side will move with him. Took him about a day and a half to get used to it and now he runs in and out constantly. It comes with two barriers, one for inside and one for outside the door. When those barriers are not in, the doors can also be locked with little slide up latches. You just have to be careful that those latches are not engaged on the doors when in use otherwise your dog will just bang his snout into the door. All in all, I am thrilled with this purchase and wish I had done it sooner. ... show more

  • Springs are way too weak
Color: Gray Size: Large
SPRINGS ARE TOO WEAK! They do not close the door. Once you rivet it in, they are not easily replaced. Get a better one. Also, you cannot find a web page to get replacement springs. Bought late 2025. Otherwise a solid door but it does not close.

  • Suggested tip
Color: Black Size: Large
Very happy with door, my dog is now a pro using it after 2 tortillas Note: To solve the issue of dogs accidentally locking themselves out, instead of cutting the locking tabs off - I simply cut small squares using adhesive backed hook/loop Velcro I had laying around and fit them into the locking channels. Now the locks can’t be accidentally engaged and it’s not permanent, I could always get them out with pliers if I wanted to. Hope it helps and thanks again for the awesome product! ... show more

  • Nice quality
Color: Black Size: Large
Really nice door. Only issue was the push tabs at the top and bottom that lock the doors. When the dogs go through the door, they sometimes push those tabs down which prevents them from coming back through. I had to cut them off with a metal cutoff wheel. Other than that, very happy with this product. ... show more

  • Hinges are weak and after a few months, you will need to replace it
Color: Black Size: Large
The hinges don't last. I bought this dog door and it was not working after 3 months. I contacted the seller because it had a lifetime warranty. He offered me a discount if I wanted to try his new and improved hinges, so I did it. To my surprise, it was the exact same door. I contacted the seller with my concern and was reassured that they were new and stronger. Here I am 3 months later with the exact same problem and a useless dog door. The only difference between the 2 doors is that the one I ended up with does not have the lifetime warranty. Save some grief and pass this up! ... show more

  • Great dog door!
Color: Black Size: Large
Great dog door! Top quality and works great for our Dobermans. The only thing I did was cut off the locking pins on the bottom of the doors... they tend to slip down when you don't want them to and lock the doors shut. A great purchase. You will not be disappointed.

  • looks great, built well, but dangerous and poorly designed! I would not recomend.
Color: Black Size: Large
I really wanted to like this door. It looks great it is built well and it is easy to install. All that being said there are two things i found to be problematic, perhaps even a design flaw. First is the location of the plastic locks. And with two covers why do we even need them? They are little plastic slide bolt style locks. Did i say plastic? What is the point of plastic locks, really? The issue is they are exactly where they shouldnt be. The doors swing like saloon doors and at the bottom corner where the two rest when closed there are these two verticle slide bolts made of plastic. Wont prevent a burglar from getting in anyway, and theu are verticle…gravity will let them fall and the door cant swing back the other wahy and wont close. If you want a security door thden buy that. If you want a dog door why would you want a silly catch that can only lock your dog out?. NNumber 2, the saloon style door is NOT conducive to pets… they cannot reverse course! If the pet starts to go through the doors and gets spooked like mine did, do, and will, they are stuck. If they back up the doors come together and catch fido in some kind of trap like pinch. It is scary if they just poke out their head and decide to back up! The harder they pull back the tighter the doors clamp their neck, or. Waist or whatever part is through. The only way is to keep going in the initial direction then turnaround and go back. I don't know about all dogs or pets but if mine get pinched one time you can forget about them ever going back. It is a damn shame because I love the look of the doors and they keep the weather out quite nicely, but if the dog wont use them what is the point? And if a small dog gets stuck and panics, well you will likely have at the least a very traumatized pet or worse a doggie door with no doggie. Im sorry, I hate to be negative but these are not safe in my opinion and I regret installing it at my house. Stick to the soft flap type if you want my advice. Good luck. ... show more

  • Frustrated
Color: Black Size: X-Large
The media could not be loaded. We loved the style of the door, which is why we purchased it for our 3 dogs. However, I feel the quality is lacking. We have only had it installed for a little over a month and I constantly have to push the little bit of insulation in. Today when it’s freezing out, I can’t get it to pop back in. ... show more
