Great bed but it is definitely a two person effort to put together. I completed the task by myself but realize that with another person helping it would have gone much faster. Also, everything went together extremely well except for the last step; fitting each end piece of the bed onto the main frame was a very tight fit. I wish they had slid on a little easier considering there are two bolts in addition to the metal of the frame you slide them onto to hold it in place.

I bought this and sent it to my youngest son’s house so they wouldn't have to change their kids sleeping arrangements at Christmas. They still put the bed in the nursery and put the baby in their room thinking I “needed” my own room, (I did not, lol)! Anyway, I actually slept better in this bed than I do in my own queen size bed! It was very comfortable, the only thing I would change is somewhere along the sides, there needs to be a bar or something to keep the mattress from sliding off! When my grandkids would come and sit with me on the bed to read, or whatever, they would lean up against a pillow propped on the wall, that would in turn slide the mattress forward and make space in between the mattress and wall. So every time they would leave I’d have to move the pillows and scoot the mattress back in place. Other than that, I’d buy this again and definitely recommend it!
