This is my 4th ebike so I I know ebikes. I received the Paselec Saturday and rode it 50 miles today. Mostly in level 2, some level one and a little level 3. 90% in pedal assist mode. I live in a very hilly part of S. California. I weigh 180lbs and it was quite windy. I ended up with about 25 to 30% of the battery power left which was really great for a bike with a 500 watt motor. It took longer to tear down the box than it did to put the bike together. This bike comes with a very comfortable saddle, excellent brakes, etc. I feel this bike is a steal based on the components and fit and finish. It's a comfortable bike with plenty of power. This will be my first negative feedback on all my purchases but this has been giving me so much headache that leaves me no option. Since I purchased it a few months ago, I have only ridden less than 200 miles but replaced the rear tire tube 5 times, and now the derailleur hanger has broken (!). To make things worse, this hanger is custom-made or something that I cannot find. I contacted customer service but have not heard back. Not sure what options I have now. ... show more

    • Power helps paddelling easier. However, I didn't use it all the time.

I like most about this bike is the electric assist paddeling. It goes a long way if you used battery sparingly. This bike is heavy with battery.

    • I beat this bike up and break it. Paseleci was quick to respond and sent out parts.

I beat the crap out of this bike and it has broken twice. I didn't know how to work with Paselec the first time so I labored and fix my hub motor by myself. The second breakdown was a broken resistor in the controller box. I had to disassemble the downtube components and the controller box to get to the issue. I had no power to the motor because my bouncy riding style stressed the component to the point of physically breaking. YOLO Ride Hard (if you can). Anyhoo...PASALEC service worked with me in a timely fashion to send me a replacement part. I was out of warranty so I had to pay the price. I also replaced the resistor in my broken unit. So, I have a brand new back up replacement. Thank you Paselec. Going on a ride now...it broke again. ... show more

Bike for me is very good. Well built, very fast and fairly easy to put together. Had issue with shipping and GS sports was very responsive. Also this is my second ebike and this one is light years better than the first model I bought which was more of an entry level bike.
