I needed a lamp for a dark corner next to a busy doorway. For safety reasons, no part of it could intrude into the doorway. This lamp is perfect for that spot. Although it's not a particularly sturdy or expensive-looking lamp, it does the job. I bought 2 of these lamps, one on each side of my couch. They work great and are dimmable. They look expensive even though they weren’t. Although now Alexa controls them, I love the on/off switches. The are round and sit on the floor. You just rap them with your toes 😂 super convenient

The quality of this lamp is good, and I like the various light settings. However, you have to turn on, off, then on again to get the next setting. It's not an 1, 2, 3 turn to get the different setting like most other lamps. Also, the on/off switch is on the floor! I didn't realize that before I purchased, but it's kind of odd and you can't have the cord behind anything or you can't get to the switch. I would have prefer it either on the base of the lamp or the pole part, like other lamps. Otherwise, it's a nice lamp and matches my decor well! ... show more
