VidaTeco shredder
Size: 18-Sheet
The original shredder had some issues that made it unworkable. I contacted VidaTeco”s customer service and received a prompt response. We tried several suggestions to correct the problem but to no avail. To correct the problem they sent a replacement shredder which works perfectly. I appreciate a company that stands behind their product. This shredder is a beast! It can handle up to 18 sheets per pass and run up to a hour without stopping. It’s what you need if you have heavy duty shredding.

Pretty good so far 👌.
Size: 18-Sheet
So far so good, I've been using it for a few weeks now. And I haven't had any problems yet. I believe it's worth the money.

I would not shred the maximum often. Works well running fairly constantly. Good overall. Shreds credit cards well. Confetti shred always.

Great shredder- but…
Size: 18-Sheet
Love this machine, it will shred several papers at once, very quiet compared to my last one. The only issue I have is unless you use their clear plastic bags, like a brown paper bag or opaque plastic bag won’t work. The machine shuts down due to the full sensor position. So unless you get the clear plastic bags you have to just dump the shredded paper into a plastic bag and inevitably some of the shred gets on the floor- messy. Otherwise it’s quite superior to my previous shredder.

A real work horse, but it has an Achilles heel.
Size: 18-Sheet
The shredder operates quietly, and will shred a ton of paper! It also does credit cards, CDs, etc. The sad part of things has to do with the power switch on the front of the unit. This would be it's Achilles heel. I used it for a month and a half and that was over a month and a half ago. The center switch on the front control panel just collapsed into the machine. This is of course rendered it inoperative. And I have purchased two of these, the other one is being used off site, and has exhibited similar issues. What is so disappointing is this company was on the cusp of a really good product but they dropped the ball with a 20 cent switch they can't stand the test of time. I have tried to contact them to see about getting a remedy for this, but have heard nothing back. So I'm sorry I have to give it one star for non-existent customer support, a warranty that doesn't cover anything since they don't get back with you. And a switch setup that is horribly inefficient, insubstantial, and definitely not up to the task. As that power switch on the front of the machine must be pushed each time you want to run it. As you can see that is a little hard to do. So I'm placing this and they do not buy category. Perhaps someday the company will reimagine how important this power switch is and they'll get it fixed with a more robust version. I am replacing this one with another company's model. This I'll try to fix myself when I have the time, or it'll be a really awesome paperweight! It's not good for much else don't waste your money. That's my honest evaluation. I will however if I ever hear from this company and they try to make it right, and succeed in doing so, amend this review. But I'm not holding my breath!
