I had tried .3 and .5 and thought “certainly there is a wider pen that doesn’t bleed or smear” out there. Did I mention I’m left-handed? It is the curse of the journaling left-hander to come away with an ink-smeared page and hand. It has something to do with how we were taught to write. But no more! So far no smears smudges or stains. Grip is comfy. So far I haven’t run out of ink and am halfway thru a 100-page college rules notebook. These are my favorite pens in the world. I am pretty picky about my black ink pens. These are comfortable in your hand and glide easily over the page. Only downside is you have to wait a second for the ink to dry.

I used this pen for the first time at a doctor's appointment and the nurse handed me her pen so I could sign something. Oh, it was so nice! So, I asked what sort of pen it was and she told me and said it was the only pen she uses. I searched for them on Amazon as I was waiting right there in the doctor's office. Best pens ever to purchase if you are looking for smooth, rich and non-smudging pens esp that its bold. Unfortunately, I bought them a year ago for less than $7 now its 3 times the price. So will look for something else or wait until the price goes down. They are difficult to find.

I now consider myself to be a pen snob! First experienced my love for these pens when I used one at my son’s house…yup, I “borrowed” it and never returned it.
