I wear this a couple hours a day - from pitch black conditions to well-lit conditions - in temperatures ranging from 20F to 50F. Pros: - Well built: no wires hanging out that can catch or break! - Easy to turn on/off - and the 3 levels of brightness using just a push button makes it so easy to use. Nice touch. - Decent battery life. - Thickness of cap: it's a little thin compared to traditional caps - but I never liked that thicker material. This is the perfect thickness and type of material to let my head breath and prevent me from overheating or causing goggles/safety/sun glasses from fogging up. Cons: - Expensive: I don't mind paying twice the amount compared to my regular winder caps - but now almost 3 times that amount for the black color is too much. The other colors are 25% less - I would do that. - When it loses battery life, it goes fast. I was working on a job and within 30 minutes I went from bright light to almost nothing. I don't think this is their fault directly but more an issue of those types of batteries. Recommendation to the Designers: - In the next version, install a photocell that will automatically turn off/on the light according to ambient lighting conditions. The light on this is very good and I like that it is rechargeable. BUT, they shrunk the size of the hat so much. It would fit a child perfectly, but an adult male, absolutely not. It does not even fully cover my ears (lower 1/4 exposed). The older ones covered my ears with room to spare. If you have a normal size head, don’t bother with this unless you don’t want to stay warm. ... show more
