Edit: after hunting down the motherboard specs and dealing with poor engineering (fans are not just screwed in but glued in, and cover available motherboard ports), I was able to add a secondary hard drive. The case allows for one to be mounted but you have to undo the "clean" cable management to do this. So it IS possible but the seller provides a horrible manual (apparently they pay their tech writers by the letter and could only afford maybe five letter), and no manuals for the components. I'm amending my original 1 star to 3 because the computer itself came as purchased but gave a terrible experience of porting existing hardware. Original review: Buyer beware. If you are upgrading and have an existing sata hard drive, good luck adding it to this machine. The manual gives no information. The manufacturer apparently never intended for this to be feasible. There are sata cables, but NO power cables for or access to the motherboard to connect one. This goes far beyond design flaw but actually feels intentional as there isn't even a compartment to house a drive. ... show more

I don't recommend this PC. I purchased this in October of 2025. I had high hopes and the reviews were good but I have been having alot of issues with it. I tried to install a second drive and discovered they had that blocked off with a panel on the inside that immediately the screws tried to strip while attempting to gain access. It does not appear there are extra cables for connecting another drive either. About every other day I have to restart it due to issues with it freezing up trying to run apps. Then when I do try to restart it hangs at the restart screen and I eventually have to hard restart it. A PC with specs that look as good as this on paper should not be challenging just to restart and it is high risk for hardware being damaged. I don't have much on the SSD so it's not overfull and I haven't been overburdening the processor. I've also ran many tests for viruses as that would be another likely cause and regardless of the program I run I can't find any malware or viruses. From the research I have done I believe the issue is the processor. I haven't worked with adjusting processor settings in the BIOS much so I haven't tried to resolve the issue yet even if I can and I don't know if that will void the warranty. I do fear eventually I'm going to have a 4k paperweight. The plus side is I have had no cooling issues. The fans and liquid cooling are perfect. Some of the fans are on the bottom so I elevated the tower on a grate for airflow. GPU appears to live up to expectations and I have found no issues with the RAM. If I can figure out the issue with the processor and make it cooperate with me I may be able to revise this review but right now I definitely do not recommend it, especially not to someone with an intermediate to beginner level of experience maintaining a PC. My next step is to contact the manufacturer unless I can figure out a solution on my own. ... show more

Regarding the Empower computer, the shipment arrived a few days earlier than originally estimated. The paperwork showed that the system was carefully inspected before shipping, which was reassuring — it included dates and the initials of the person who did the check. Outstanding all around including professional clear understandable American English support!!!!!!! First two weeks was great. Bought for gaming installed 4 games. After two weeks games became unplayable due to 15 seconds of lag. Could be windows and not the computer but….. support put me on hours of diagnostics that were hard to follow. ... show more

Wound up picking this up. The case is actually quite nice, with covers for the intakes that are magnetic so you can remove and clean them, which I liked. The cabling was done well as well and was clean. I didn't have any immediate issues. However, upon starting the machine I found the 2.5 GBE port was non-functional. I thought maybe it was missing drivers, so started there. Then I noticed no devices, even hidden ones, showing up within windows for the GBE port. I checked the BIOS, cleared the CMOS even, and updated even to the latest version. Nothing. I'm disappointed they didn't test all the ports on the way out of the door. Now I'll see how well their RMA process works, and I will post my full review what I went through here. I tried reaching their support, but have gotten no response so far trying to cal them during business hours. So not a good first sign. ... show more
