Just wanted to give you a shout out on the panini maker as it is wonderful, works amazingly. Some of my favorite features are the fold back top, the large handle that sticks out just enough to help you push down the panini to make is cook flat and evenly. Received and already had the fixings to make some great sandwiches, after cleaning it up and building our favorite Panini flavors into the bread we put them on and golden delishisness for sure. The heat seating is very well balanced and cook well also, clean up was a snap however I do have some suggestions. So, when you lift the cover any of the excess oil or cooking spray runs out the back and onto the cupboard making a mess which could be improved by a simple tray to set in back. One other major improvement would be removable plates, that would through this cooking appliance over the top of most and rival the pricy ranged ones. Over all I give this Panini maker an A for effort and ease of use, although it could use a few improvements. ... show more

For the price, this item works very well, saves me time, and provides a hot meal in minutes. I love having it. The bonus is it's easy to clean. And, it's versatile, whether you make sandwiches or choose something else.

    • Good for paninis, bad grill
This device has a lot of features that make it a good panini press: the top has decent weight, it heats up quickly (and has decent power to keep it hot), and the floating hinge give it versatility for thin and thick sandwiches alike (though sometimes pushes my sandwich forward, out of the press...) I assume it also has good features for grilling (probably many of the same as panini), but with a single particular flaw: The grease drain does not work. When I say it doesn't work, I don't mean that no grease will drain out, but that most of it will not. Unlike a George Foreman grill, there's no slant, so there's nothing to get the grease to the channel that leads to the drain. In order to get the grease out, I have to lock it, tilt it forward AND to the left... while it's hot (or the grease won't be liquid). There are a few nitpicks as well: The button to convert it to a flat grill is closer to hot parts than I like, so if you forget to flatten it before heating it up, it's unsafe to do so. The instructions make a big deal about how important it is for your safety not to bypass the ground on the plug, but the plug isn't grounded (so... should I be worried?) I also prefer devices that turn off rather than needing to be unplugged. I plan to keep using this to make paninis, but not as a grill. Update: It also makes amazing Texas toast. Nicely textured, fluffy and warm inside, and the grill marks bring out the garlic flavor. ... show more

My family and I love making paninis and we've been through a lot of panini sandwich makers until we saw this one. Like every panini maker this one has a setting where you could either you could grill it to how cooked you want it, But the thing is the sandwich maker heats up so much faster than the ones we have ever tried before, if heated up in the matter of seconds. Another great thing about this panini sandwich maker is that it is very simple. In the past I used a variety of panini sandwich makers they used to have a variety of buttons and I didn't know what to use them for. Another great thing about this is it's just very easy to store it doesn't take up too much space and it's perfect for a small spaces and easy for travel. I would 100% recommend buying this to make your paninis a lot better. ... show more

I never write reviews. But because it's about my favorite panine maker here it goes... I can't live without this specific panini maker, it's just the Best one out there. So easy to clean, it heats even, it looks great in my kitchen, it makes my sandwiches taste and look fantastic. Every time I have a friend over, and I make a grilled panini they just fall in love and I always recommend this panini maker. Don't think twice, buy it. My very first one run out 2 years after I purchased, and I researched about another brands until I realized that this is the BEST ONE out there. Just buy an extra warranty, because let me tell you this: their costumer service is even AMAZING ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. that's why i'm here writing this review as well. They replied my email, and fixed my problem so fast that I was impressed. I sent them an email on a SUNDAY at 9:31pm and they answer me and fixed my problem without a question at the SAME DAY at 10:02pm๐Ÿ˜. For me, that it's amazing.     • Great for small meals. Hard to clean. Sold used unit as new.
We are staying in hotels a lot, and this is great for everything from sandwiches to steaks and vegetables. It would be a great bonus if the griddles were reversible. Unfortunately, the sides of the drip grooves are so low that any attempt to wipe it out gets drippings all over the place. It also slides around the counter while youโ€™re trying to use it. btw - The left side handle broke and when I checked it, the heads of screws holding it on had been stripped. This had clearly been repaired, and shoddily at that. ... show more
