First of all, dont be fooled by the number of games listed in these Arcade box listings. The actual number of games is closer to 800, and that includes regional versions of certain games. How they got to 26,800 is by copying and pasting the same 800 games over and over until the hard drive is full. Now, not only is this misleading, but it also causes a huge issue with organization. It takes forever to scroll through the whole list of endlessly duplicated games. Yes, you can Hide games, but then you have to hide the same game over and over and scroll manually through the whole list. It would take you countless hours to clean up this mess, and its all completely unneeded to begin with. They need to either remove all the duplicates or allow a feature to hide any game with a duplicate name. 800 is still a pretty big list, but nowhere near the advertised total. OK, now that I am done about that annoying issue, the arcade box itself is pretty good. The arcade emulation is fine on most games, the box allows for external controllers (I am using PS4 which works well), the games run fine. For some reason, there is a default "graphical optimized" option which makes everything blurry/mushy. Turn it off and get the sharp pixel visuals instead. Most of the popular games I remember from the 80s and early 90s are here, and theres a lot of obscure/international arcade games. There doesnt seem to be many games from the late 90s. For example, Daytona USA is completely missing. But, otherwise, its a great arcade flashback and history. If you can deal with the huge and annoying repeated list of games, then get this, especially for 80s/early 90s arcade games.

I made thorough video reviews for this device but the website is having a hard time uploading them and errors, so below is my shortened review: Likes: 1. ARCADE FEEL: The joysticks and buttons give off that nostalgic feeling of being back in the 80s and spending quarter after quarter trying to defeat a boss! 2. Highly responsive: unlike the 80s, the buttons do not have to be mashed and the joystick is sensitive! 3. Speakers are the device: you can choose to have all of the sound feed through your tv or through both the tv and the game console. 4. Lights up: The lighting really gives you this immersive Player 1 vs Player 2 experience. With TONS of fighting games within it, it really is P1 vs P2 for many of the games. But don't fret, there are also co-op games within as well. Dislikes: 1. I spoke to the seller to learn that in order to back out of a game you are currently playing, you do have to shut the console off and turn it back on again. The seller confirmed that doing so will not harm the console because it is built to withstand this, and so far, it only caused an issue with Sonic the Hedgehog 1 time, but a secondary turn off/turn on cleared the problem.

While this has many games I enjoyed as a kid in the arcade and gives you that feel, there are issues that make the price point difficult for me. If you scroll through the full list, you'll find there are a TON of repeats, and then you have the "different" ones that are really just versions of the repeated ones that give you invincibility or only boss options, if which those "games" repeat. The list is super hard to navigate, you'll spend most of your time looking for something to play. Suggest you look and find games you will want to visit later and mark them as favorites. Remotes and their buttons controls are not clear, and most of the time we just keep hitting them until the right thing happens. This has potential, but there's some improvement needed before I'm fully on board.
