The media could not be loaded. Is it a high quality trumpet that will sound wonderful for generations? Pry not. Does it sound pretty good and will get you by in a pinch, I have 2 vintage Bb trumpets that are wonderful, but I’ve been needing a c trumpet to play sometimes. This will do, till I can find a decent vintage one. Would be an EXCELLENT first trumpet, if it got destroyed oh well! ... show more

My first plastic trumpet, which isn’t surprising. Valves are a little sticky even after oiling with the good stuff. But not horribly so. Which is to say, I doubt you’ll find better at this price point. Slider on the third valve is a little loose. Might have to tape it in place. Other than that, plays and sounds great. I got this to replace a similarly priced metallic C trumpet I got a number of years ago. The lever on the spit valve broke in half on that one. This plastic is definitely going to be stronger than the crappy Chinese pot metal used on some parts of cheap metallic trumpets. This trumpet is light, sleekly black, of good quality for the price, and I have no hesitation recommending it as probably the best bang for buck you can get in a trumpet. ... show more

The tone was sweet, it was light and seemed to be well made. However for me, I could not get all the notes to play. Not like on a Flugelhorn I have that is plastic and a brass trumpet ..so I had to return it I've just been playing for a month...so if you're up for a challenge, it may work for you.
