It's a spray, not a "mist". Mist is mist. Spray is spray. Love the smell. Does the job with the shimmer but comes out hard and thick. I have some cheap perfumes that come out more misty than this does. Might just reuse my cheap perfume bottles and pour this right on in to get rid of that issue. The smell also doesn't last long. I put it on before work and I work 10 hours shifts. By hour 4 I don't smell the elegant, feminine scent of myself anymore when I walk past the fan. Bummer... but it's expected from such an affordable product. Can't expect Bath and body works quality. Would recommend to a brokie or frugal/deal-chasing person like myself. Otherwise go to bath and body works and buy shimmer mist IF you can afford better. ... show more

This product does give a nice shimmer, and you can layer on as much as you'd like. I recommend learning various techniques for using glitter/shimmer products for the desired effect. Also, the size of the bottle is generous for the price I paid. It should last quite a long time. Where this product falls short is with the spray and the scent. I always do a test spray in the trash can first to determine if there will be overspray, etc. If you don't aim this just right, there is definitely overspray. Even if you aim it perfectly on your skin, it will spray out almost in a straight line, and not like a nice even mist. There is never a time I've used this so far that I don't end up having to spray it on my hands and rubbing it in myself. It's an extra step and it's messy and annoying. Shimmer sprays should go on evenly and with a light coating. This does not. Then there's the scent. The first time I used it, I was immediately taken back to the women of my grandmother's era who tended to wear Jean Nate type scents -- nauseating. There's absolutely ZERO reason for a shimmer spray to come with a scent, and especially a scent like this. It's heavy, lingering, and will saturate your clothing if you're not careful. The only way I've gotten around this so far is by applying Vaseline to my hands, rubbing that into a thin, even layer, then spraying the shimmer spray onto that and rubbing it onto my skin. It somehow reduces (hides?) the strong scent. Else, I've tried applying the spray onto still-damp skin and allowing the evaporation to help dissipate the scent. I CAN'T WEAR THIS OLD LADY HEAVY PERFUME OUT IN PUBLIC. I'll keep this bottle in spite of the workarounds I have to do. But I'll likely try the top competing brand soon. ... show more

Okay so I don't normally do reviews but i must on this. So the scent is good, it's not super cheap smelling or super strong smelling (smell does not last all day, but sparkles do, which is fine with me!) But the SPARKLES ARE AMAZING, I literally get so many compliments about my glittery arms/shoulders/chest. They are small and classy looking, it's not like you dumped kids glitter on you it's actually like a sparkling, glowing fairy haha. I highly recommend if you love glitter. If you're wanting this for more of the perfume I would say okaaaaaay but the smell isn't the selling point for thus. It is however the best smelling glitter spray I've used tho ... show more
