I wanted to update my review…. After leaving my review, the company reached out to me to see if they could make things right. They offered a replacement set. I accepted and paid he new set was set out. I received it very quickly. Assembly was much easier on this set (used my husband’s screwdriver with Allen wrench attachment). The cushions are thicker and A lot more comfortable. The set is beautiful, sturdy and well made. I love that the company was willing to stand behind their product. I love the look of the set. Assembly was a bit sketchy. Some of the holes were not aligned properly. Luckily my hubby is quite handy and was able to make it work. The cushions are not very substantial. So sitting for any period of time can be uncomfortable. The material seems very cheap. It has a bit of a shininess to it and they are very slippery. Personally, I don’t think they are worth the price.

This is a pretty nice set, with a couple of caveats. Instructions to put it together are clear and easy to follow. I don't recommend putting it together using the allen wrench tool they supplied, it would take hours and be very tiring. I used a drill with an allen wrench bit. That worked great! A couple of the holes don't line up well, but with some jiggling and maneuvering I was able to make all but one work. One just wouldn't screw in completely, so I just left it ... the chair was stable and seemed solid even like that, so that's how it stays. The table top is soft and unsupported, and putting a glass or anything the least bit unstable on it would result in the item falling over. I solved this by purchasing an acrylic sheet 18"x18" to go over the top ... at an additional $35.00. But I expect that to completely resolve that issue. All in all, it's a good, solid set, with just a couple of small issues, both easy to resolve, but at additional cost to me.

Before anything else I say, this is the most important: DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN BOLTS ON EACH CHAIR BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM ALL IN AND ONLY GIVEN A COUPLE TURNS. That is VERY important. You will need the wiggle room to fully match up all the holes properly. I am fully convinced that those complaining about holes not matching up did not leave all the bolts loose enough at first. Now with that being said, I absolutely love this set. Yes it's cheap. You're going to get what you paid for. I had the choice of spending $800 on a set that looked very similar at a local store. Although I know it was built a little better, I wasn't going to spend that much. This set is an excellent value for the slightly less in quality, but it still seems like I should get a few years use out of it. The supports for the seat are what I was most disappointed in, being they are only a few twisted ropes of the same stuff the plastic wicker seems to be made of, with the woven plastic wicker on top. It seems strong enough, says will hold 350 pounds, so we'll see. It arrived in 2 boxes, at the same time. My son put them together with an occasional extra hand by me, but could easily be assembled by one person. It took about half an hour for all 3 items. The cushions do seem a little "slippery" but I think a couple squares of velcro underneath will take care of that. I also plan to buy covers for the chairs to protect from the sun and weather. It's very comfortable, perfect size for my patio. We've had it less than a day, assembling it as soon as it arrived late this afternoon. If there's a change in my opinion due to problems, I'll definitely update.

So, this took a lot of patience, a lot of walking away and searching for inner peace, and maybe even a beer or two, but once it was together, we were thoroughly pleased. It looks nice. It's roomy. It's comfortable. The price was reasonable, I guess, for those qualities. But when someone who can confidently change out faucets, replace siding, and do other handy things around the house wants to throw in the towel when assembling some chairs, that's not cool.

Easy to assemble. Beautiful furniture with a lovely wicker look. Absolutely LOVE the hideaway ottomans and was a top reason for choosing this set over others because I have a small space where I use them, but wanted the convenience of a lounge chair type experience. As you can see, kitty is very fond of them, too! The only downside so far is the cushions, like many other reviews mention. First is the "MEH" quality. They are thin and not very cushy, but ok. Second, the color (just a personal preference) is not white, not yellow, but more like a yellow-ish ivory or "buttercream" color? By far, wouldn't be my choice of color as it doesn't really match anything. Third, I have found that they actually HOLD water. I expected them to be water repellent but when I picked up a cushion a day after the rain, it was heavily saturated and I had to set them up in a way they could drain and dry out. They will probably get me through this first summer, but I expect I will have to replace them. Still worth the investment in my opinion, but this company could really have an outstanding product if they upgraded the cushions. I'd be willing to pay more for that! Would still recommend. P.S. Found this beautiful rug on Amazon, too.
