These are pretty nice garden tools, especially for the price. They are sort of light weight, the feel like they are made of shiny pot metal, which is almost like aluminum. The finish isn't coming off yet. They are pretty strong. I like that the handle is plastic, which will last longer than the wooden handle ones I have always used. This garden tool set feels very sturdy. The handles are thick so they provide a comfortable grip and all three tools feel durable. The small shovels do a great job when you're removing weeds and the measurements engraved on the inside are accurate. They are a great value for the price!

I like garden tools that do a good job at a good price. I don’t need fancy tools, but they need to be ready to work and able to take some punishment. This set doesn’t leave me wishing for much more. The steel is thick enough to hold up. I like the measurement scale on the spade blade. It really comes in handy for planting depth measurements. The rake is solid, but it isn’t a tool I use as much as a little shovel or spade. I like the grips. They are soft enough to be comfortable and help spread out the pressure points to minimize the chances of a blister and they give me a good grip. I have to say this is a good set of tools for the garden and they are a solid value.

We've had a very similar set of these tools for many years, but one of the trowels broke recently, so I got this set to replace and supplement what we already had. I chose the red set in hopes they will be easier to find when left in or next to a garden bed. The shovel and transplant trowel are practically interchangeable except for the depth markings. The blades should last several years - maybe longer if well cared for. The handles are sturdily attached and I think the grips are a little bit nicer than our old ones. Unfortunately, the handle on the rake was installed about 15 degrees out of alignment and there is just no budging it to correct the orientation. It's not unusable, but it's not how it should be either. Overall, this is a satisfactory set of garden tools. It would be five stars if all of the handles were installed correctly.

surprisingly light tools, made from aluminum. They seem very hardy for any soil type but if you use them on rocks they will chip and ding more easily than steel tools. They are noticably lighter in the hands than steel tools, grip seems high quality. Maybe avoid if you use a lot in rocky areas, but perfect for a daily gardening tool
