Got this for my family and specially for my other half and daughter as they wanted this for alongest time. We have large bakyard which we are trying to keep up with only my husband working on it. We needed something which is not only enjoyable but easy quick building and setup. It comes with 3 colors, and chose grey (his favorite color) which matches are backyard setup. And this gazebo as per him is easy to build most of it by single person. Most important thing is to follow the steps in the manual. He used only screwdriver and wrench and yes a ladder towards the end to put the 2 piece canopy. Metal Frame is coated for rustproof. Canopy comes in 2 pieces, first one goes on top first. And it is waterproof and UV protected so its supposed to last longer. Time will tell. Hooks on each corner and middle to hange solar lanterns or planters. Also it comes with Bug Net with rings to slide the net to each corner and ties to the metal with nice design post panels. It has zipper on all 4 sides. Base can be anchored with included metal anchors to the concrete as well as the ground. Use the right anchors included depending on what you have. It took him around 3 hours to build and move to the right place and anchor it. After the build needed 4 people for safety to move properly to right place as he forgot to build where it was supposed to. Though Canopy ceiling can be done by single person, he used family to make it a family learning bonding event. The manual needs to be little better than what it has. ... show more

Very happy with our purchase. Assembly was easy. Instructions were easy to follow. Gazebo is very sturdy. We had a couple storms and the gazebo held up well. I definitelyWould recommend this gazebo.

To our surprise one delivery driver unloaded this long heavy box. Set up took two people at times and a stepping stool or small ladder depending on the height of the people. Completely assembled in about 2 hours. We opted to directly screw to the wood deck because we routinely have wind is gusts above 30mph. The fabric was a little challenging to get on at the corners. It does come with four sided zip in the middle screening that when unzipped they can be tied to the corners. There are also round loops at each top corner for hanging plants. This is a beautiful looking gazebo. We have two minor complaints, the first is the rings to hang the screening fabric were just cheap plastic shower curtain type rings, we bought 3in brown split rings. Our second minor items is that there are no weights or ties strings to hold down the bottoms of the screening when they are completely zipped together. ... show more

Update: A little over 2 months, and the bars have bent and broke due to the weight of the canopy. Very poor quality, do not waste your money on this product. Also, refunds are a waste of time. They make you pay for shipping, and the return address is in China so shipping fee was over $800. I was excited to have something to spruce up my backyard. I had three sides built, when I discovered the last bracket was not drilled properly, so the screws did not fit. I contacted the manufacturer directly for a replacement piece, and they have not responded. I contacted the seller here on Amazon, also with no response. I'm hoping to have a response soon and a replacement part sent so I can finish. It would be really irritating to have to take the whole thing apart for a refund. Update: customer care sent me the replacement part and I was able to put it together. Looks great! However, do not purchase unless you know 100% that it will fit. While the post says free returns, the return address is in Hong Kong, and they do NOT pay for shipping. The cheapest shipping to return the item is $850.00. So I'm stuck with a gazebo. ... show more

My gazebo arrived this week and we put it up last night. It rained a little and this gazebo didn't even last a night. I woke up to find poles all bent. Email sent to seller and pamapic@hotmail.com. They can either send me sturdy poles or refund me my money as this gazebo was not cheap. Will update once sellers contact me. ... show more

It's 111 degrees today here in the NorCal Sacramento Valley right now, and this gazebo is providing much-needed shade in our zero-tree, south-facing back yard. Hubby (Contractor/Carpenter) assembled it in 2 hours but used better nail-set anchors instead of whatever this came with... he said it was easy but it would have been challenging for me (I only helped with the cover). Easy to assemble, looks great, the lights under the canopy four corners work fantastic in the evening! We actually owned this same gazebo previously but we forgot to lower it during a storm - the wind took it and it was ruined. I'm happy to confirm that we had an even more serious windstorm this summer, we lowered the gazebo (it was also attached to our deck). I'll admit I was nervous but the gazebo was completely undamaged - so impressed!!! So glad we were able to find the same make/model - we highly recommend it! ... show more

    • Really enjoying our gazebo
I really like our new gazebo. It seems a sturdier than our last one. It was easy to put together, because I put it together by myself. I love the insect screen. We can now sit outside in the evening and enjoy it without all the bugs bothering us. According to other reviews, they had trouble with gazebo with missing parts or not figuring out which sides together, but the instructions were easy to read and I had no missing parts. The only thing I had to do was brace the bars that you have to put together, because they kind of bowed when you put the bars up that holds the canopy. I braced then with little strips of metal to keep them from bowing. ... show more
