  • Easy to assemble, but you should watch the video.
For me, this was a great purchase. The gazebo comes in 2 boxes, and I spent 30 minutes reviewing that I had all the parts, including counting screws and other hardware. It took time but is well worth it for peace of mind knowing I had all the parts before starting. The assembly is actually fairly easy with the supplied instructions. I was able to assemble it myself, with no help at all (and I am 66); it took about a day and a half: 8 hours + 4 hours. I think I could have completed it in one day, if I had additional help. I am pretty analytical, and being an Engineer, the assembly complexity for me was fairly straightforward. If you're not mechanically inclined, you should definitely take your time. Another more important aid is there an assembly video, I which I didn't know about when I did mine. I wish I had known this, as it would have definitely decreased the time to read and interpret the pictured instructions. So, I recommend you absolutely view the assembly video before starting. If I should purchase another one for my vacation house, I really think I could assemble it in <6 hours with another person helping. I read some 1-star reviews and noted that many complained about the panel roof holes not lining up with the cross beams. NOTE: the roof holes are for powder-coating the panels when manufacturing them; not for final assembly. But I did spend an extra 1/2 hour time to drill holes for the panels through the cross beams. This may or may not be necessary, but I didn't mind and I feel it also gives some extra stability to the structure. Also, Customer Service was top notch, as I asked for extra curtain hooks, as these feel more fragile than I would have preferred, and they sent me some free of charge and more than I asked for. Some suggestions for the manufacturer: 1. Separate the hardware into sealed, counted bags. Mine arrived in one complete mess, and the screws and hardware were mixed, hence the need to count everything. 2. The curtain eyelets are very large relative to the hooks. In a strong wind, the curtain tends to pop off the hooks. I was able to devise inserts that keep the eyelets in place even during stronger winds. 3. The 4 column posts, while hollow, are completed sealed off. I wanted to run 110V power to the inside top of the gazebo. Even after it was all assembled, I managed to drill holes through the base and at the column top, to allow wiring to run through the column, so no ugly wiring is seen. If they could provide that feature from the factory, a Buyer doesn't have to bother drilling if they wanted it. In all, I think this product is as good as some that cost 2x as much. ... show more

  • Less Expensive Than Big Box Stores
Review for 28 x 10 Gazebo (Dated 17 March 2025) TLDR: Modification may be required. Customer service sucked. I assumed it was 28 x 10 not 14 x 10 (x2). Summary: The Pamapic 28 x 10 gazebo is a budget-friendly, mass-produced structure that offers solid performance but has notable drawbacks in quality control and customer service. While the assembly process is manageable for experienced DIYers, beginners may find it challenging. The installation instructions are of low quality, and minor modifications may be necessary for a precise fit. The included gutter system is flawed, and some parts arrived damaged or mislabeled. Customer support response times were slow. Despite these issues, once assembled and properly anchored, the gazebo is sturdy and functional. Given the price point, it provides good value, but improvements in manufacturing and customer service would make it a better product. Experience Level: I am an avid DIYer with a moderately high understanding of construction techniques. If your experience is limited to assembling IKEA furniture, you may need assistance from someone more skilled or risk frustration during installation. Installation: Assembly Approach: Avoid fully tightening screws during assembly. Fasten them halfway to allow for adjustments, as misalignment issues often stem from shifting parts. Tighten them gradually as you transition to erecting the columns and cross beams. Custom Modifications: Going into this I knew that I was going to have to modify the legs to fit under my soffit. The advertised size 96 inches tall. The ACTUAL SIZE is 103+/- inches tall. As a result I had to shorten 8 inches from the legs to fit under my soffit. This was easily done using a table saw, though a circular saw, hacksaw, or handsaw could also work. Ensure the cut is square and use the removed section as a template for screw holes or make a jig for accuracy. Remove the amount needed from the rear pillars. Stabilization: If assembling alone, use sandbags or other weights to stabilize the columns temporarily. I used bags of fill dirt from another project. Alignment Assistance: A bar clamp helps align screw holes, particularly as components shift. If you have assistance, they can manually hold parts in place, but a clamp is a cost-effective alternative. Harbor freight has them under $10. I would recommend at least a 2-foot, but a 3 or 4-foot clamp is better. Instruction Manual Limitations: The provided manual (I received four copies) is of low resolution and should be used primarily for identifying parts rather than following step-by-step assembly. Some steps are easier to complete on the ground before raising the structure. Skip ahead and see what you are comfortable with doing on the ground. Gutter System Issues: The gutter is annoying, leaks at every joint, and sags. I will likely replace this with a solid joint free gutter later down the road. The downspouts (if they actually received water) do not fit a standard 1/2" PVC pipe. If you plan on keeping the gutter as configured you will need to shim in a 1/2" pipe with some type of gasket. They also supplied an upper and lower gutter. I don't really know why. It is physically impossible for water to run off the back due to gravity. Part Labeling Inconsistencies: Most parts were labeled correctly, except for V1/V2 components, which had incorrect stickers that were later manually corrected with a pen. The bolts that join V1/V2 and H together must have the nut on the top. The screw head is on the bottom. Don't mix this up or you will be switching everything around. Anchor Selection: I did not use the supplied anchors. I opted for .25" x 2.75" Tapcons since I am more familiar with them. Use a 3/16th drill bit for pilot holes. To be honest, I didn't even know they supplied anchors. I will save them for something else in the future. Screw Durability: The supplied screws are soft, and their heads strip easily. If using a power drill, keep it on the lowest setting. Extra screws were provided, but quantities varied between boxes. Quality and Finish: Material Expectations: This a mass produced gazebo using the most inexpensive materials to produce maximum profit. This is no different that what you would buy at Blue Box Store or Orange Box store, for THOUSANDS less. With that in mind the finish meets my expectations. There were some inconsistencies with the paint that are not noticeable unless you were really looking and I just moved those parts to the end of the gazebo where there would be less traffic. Shipping Damage: Some parts arrived scratched, dented, or bent, but these were minor issues that did not affect functionality. A bent rail that prevented a roof panel from seating was easily corrected with needle-nose pliers. Missing Components/Warranty: One of my columns (Pillar A2) was missing rivet nuts. Pamapic's customer service did respond—I received an initial request for order details and photos but did not hear back for about a week. I ultimately fixed the issue myself using a rivet gun and nuts (sized M6) due to a personal deadline and they reimbursed me for the cost of the tool. Roof Panel Durability: The roof panels are unconventional compared to traditional asphalt shingles or aluminum panels. Longevity remains to be seen, but if they last ten years, I will consider that a success. Shipping and Delivery: Packaging: Components were well-protected with excessive plastic packaging. More cardboard and less plastic would have been preferable. I was able to fill up two kitchen trash bags with plastic alone. Yeesh. Early Delivery: The gazebo arrived two weeks ahead of schedule and was delivered on a pallet. Performance: Structural Stability: Fully anchored, this does not move. If it does move, we probably got hit by a tornado and I have bigger issues to worry about. Leak Issues: A minor leak occurred during the first storm due to an improperly tightened bolt. After securing the bolt, there were no further leaks. Final Thoughts: I plan to purchase a smaller version of this gazebo for another area of my property but will likely try a different brand. While the structure is sturdy and cost-effective, unclear marketing regarding the two-piece cross support beams, and quality control issues were disappointing. If these factors were improved, this would be a five-star product. As it stands, 4 out of 5 stars based on value versus performance. ... show more

  • Love it!
I absolutely love this ! I have it set up on my back patio. When it rains I don’t have to worry about my outdoor furniture getting wet. The bug screens work well and the zipper is a little better quality than some others I have seen. It was delivered in two boxes. The first box (the top) was delivered to the wrong address (thanks FedEx) and I never received it. I worked with the seller and Amazon and about two weeks later I received the replacement top. It was worth the wait. The only downside is that you need two or three people to put it together and it takes forever! I think we spent a total of 8 hrs assembling it. Word of caution, take your time with it. If something is off just a bit, the panels won’t slide in easy and the roof will leak. It is very sturdy and heavy. I dont think I have to worry about it being picked up and tossed around by Mother Nature. ... show more

  • Absolute Disaster!!!
We have now spent over 10 hours trying to assemble this complete disaster and we are not even halfway done!!! Directions are pictures only without written instructions! Nothing lines up correctly and the items are bent and /or not drilled completely through! I am absolutely disappointed with this and actually wished I purchased it elsewhere. When the package is bolted s and screws arrived, of course the “adhesive” on the package did not secure them properly so all of them mixed together. Total of 17 hours to complete. Had we not invested all of our time and energy putting this together, I would have begged for our money back. ... show more
