Definitely need to be careful retracting the ladder back to it's original size. You can easily slam your fingers if you aren't careful. This is the best ladder I've ever owned. I love how easily it stores and unpacks again, and the fact that it has a nylon/velcro strap to keep it from extended during transport is an incredibly nice touch. The only thing I'd like to see different is for the rungs to be a little wider, because the narrow ones will cause your feet to start hurting after a pretty short time. Other than that, top of the line product.

I’m really impressed with this ladder. The telescoping feature is great; easy to carry, light weight, simple to set up. The only caveat to taking it back down. When one collapses the ladder, it comes down fast and hard, and could cause injury. However, it’s designed that collapsing takes two hands, so it’s almost idiot-proof. Just be careful when kids and pets are close by. Love this ladder and highly recommend it.

Perfect for what it's needed for. We needed a collapsible ladder to carry with our camper and clean off the slide out when breaking down camp to leave. It's good for that even with a tall camper. Not the most heavy duty, bows a bit under my husband's weight, but he is not a small man (6'4 280lbs) and he doesn't feel unsafe on it. For the price we are very happy with it.

Used for attic access and works great for this, because it can even be stored in the closet which has the attic access. Extended out all the way, it is a little bouncy. Would not use it for carrying heavy loads.

Just be a little careful when you close it watch your fingers. But it’s really just common sense. I use this to get into an attic space and it’s perfect for my needs. I have nowhere to store a large ladder and this is very nice and sturdy. I think it’s well worth the money
