I bought another stylus pen before this purchase and it did not work as well as I thought it would. I purchased the new iPad Pro and needed a stylus pen that was compatible with it. AND did not have any trouble with putting my palm on the screen. Without doing much research but some review stalking, I found this pen AND WOW! This pen has such similar features to the apple pencil, it even LOOKS like it. (I did not get a black tip of the pencil). The only few differences are that this does not have a magnet for it to stick to the iPad Pro and charge, it does not have the feature where you can switch between tools, and it is not pressure sensitive - meaning the harder you press down on your screen, the stroke of the pen would change. Though the magnet aspect would be cool, I don't really see a use for wanting to switch between tools (I don't do that much work on any app to have to switch between a pencil and eraser on the app). And pressing down on the screen, again, is not a real big use for me. I actually bought an Apple Pencil 2 skin for it, and it fit perfectly! I used it all day yesterday (along with a paperlike screen protector) and it is so easy to use, and writes so well. I was truly impressed and happy with my purchase. This is my number one recommendation for those who want something LIKE the apple pencil 2 but don't want to pay for the entire amount. Update 01/21/2021 It is still holding up and doing the job right! I have gone through both pen tips (i must write hard on the ipad) and have asked the customer service if they provide extra tips as part of the one year warranty and lo and behold - THEY DO! I advise that if you get this pen, scan the QR code to register your order and get the one year warranty to get the replacement tips (without any extra costs). They are sooooo efficient, kind, and respond QUICKLY! (within the same day). I made a wrong choice and instead of saying the deal is closed they sent the correct pen tip and didn’t have me re send the mistaken one :’) , they truly blew me away! But if you haven’t already!!! Forget the $129 Apple Pencil this is your best bet!!!!! ... show more

I needed an economical option for a Stylus for my IPad verses the expensive Apple Stylus. This one did the job. If you use it constantly, it does need to be charged more frequently than I would like, though. It was quiet easy to use, there were no issues in the overall use of it. This “Apple Pencil” is incredible. I can’t imagine buying the Apple brand version when this is a third of the price and works phenomenally. I use this on a matte (Supershieldz screen protector, anti glare and antifingerprint, Amazon) screen protector and there is never any lag when drawing and writing. I use this for my college classes so I am using it on a daily basis and haven’t had any problems after a month of use. I also haven’t seen any wear on the tip. I would recommended using a screen protector because of the fine tip like this because it will create small scratches on the screen (any tipped stylus will) and those small scratches pile up very quickly. I also recommend a matte screen if you are using it for writing frequently since it gives more grip and a more natural writing experience than on the glass. The pencil also sits very nicely in my case designed to hold an Apple Pencil. I’d imagine it would fit in any stylus case. The battery life is great and I use it for a few hours, many days in a row without charging. It comes with an extra tip and a charging cable. Turning it on and off is super easy because you just tap the top. The palm rejection really impressed me since you don’t actually sync it to the iPad and the iPad recognizes it anyways. I was worried about not having pressure sensitivity with this but even when I use it for digital art, it isn’t a big deal. I think the only time it would be nice to have the pressure sensitivity would be for digital calligraphy. If you aren’t using it for that then this is equivalent to the Apple Pencil. I really like this pen. It’s been great for writing notes and making doodles (albeit, not great ones). In the video, I show what it’s like writing in the GoodNotes app. I also am using it with a paper like screen protector and that makes the writing a lot easier. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PWXFSSC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) The first one I got would not write properly. Instead of smooth lines they were dashed. At first I thought it was a Bluetooth issue and I tried several things to fix it. Nothing work and I was going to return it. Customer service talked me into trying a replacement first instead and I’m super happy they did. I’ll list some pros and cons. Keep in mind this is the only stylus I have used and can’t truly compare to others. Pro: • The palm rejection is a nice touch and works. • Writes smoothly • No delay in when writing • Durable and comes with a replaceable tip • Fits in my case designed to hold an Apple Pencil. • Has a flat side to keep it from rolling Con • The tip is very hard so writing on glossy surfaces makes it a little harder to control the flow of writing (why I got the paper like screen protector) • The power turns off after a very short duration of being unused and there’s no way to make it longer. • Only has one function. I do like this pen it holds battery for a very long time. I used it on a week long road trip and it held the charge during each drive everyday. It pairs automatically with the IPad which is very nice, there's no lag either. It's my first stylus pen for drawing. Keep in mind I'm using procreate while writing this review, idk I thought that might be helpful. For this next part I'm not sure if it was just because of the heat or what but only one month after i got the pen the first tip already wore down to the metal bit inside. The plastic residue from the tip got on my IPad screen and made it less accurate and the lines got inconsistent in my drawings. The color dropper would drop too soon or resizing wouldn't be right because of the metal bit showing on the tip. I just had to wipe it clean every few hours but it kinda ruined my pace when I was getting into a good rhythm. I honestly don't know how common this is because I am new to digital art and I have always used more pressure even in traditional art. It seems kinda annoying that 1 tip only lasts a month for me but it is what it is. The metal bit only started to show toward the end of a months use, but the plastic residue was always an issue. I was drawing for long periods of time in a row, but a few times every week the tip would become just a little loose and you just twist it back in. It's very easy yet kinda annoying because it took me awhile to figure out what the issue was when there were inconsistencies. There was also the issue of the stylus would randomly switch to a chalky brush from the brush i was currently using(usually sketching or inking). I still don't know how to fix it, I just had to look a for a brush similar to the one i was using that my stylus would actually use or use my finger. It always went back to normal eventually. This pen is relatively cheap and I know i said a lot of bad things but for the majority of the time the pen worked so smoothly. ... show more

I bought this as a backup to my Apple Pencil (1st Generation) so that I'd have something to use while it charges. For about one-third the price, this stylus is a bold competitor. The look and feel is very similar to the Apple Pencil, though it does sport a flat edge similar to the Apple Pencil 2 (though not quite as wide an edge) that keeps it from rolling off the table. I have used it daily for over a week and have not needed to recharge it, so the battery life is impressive. I am guessing that this may have something to do with the fact that it is not a Bluetooth device. In fact, if you have an Apple Pencil connected to your device (I am using an iPad Air 3rd Generation), it won't work. You have to disconnect your Apple Pencil (you can also just turn off Bluetooth temporarily) for this stylus to be recognized. I also like the blue "on" status light. The Apple Pencil lacks that. I tend to flip my pen around in my hand while I think, and inadvertently turn the stylus off while I am working with it. With the Apple Pencil, I have a rubber stylus cap over the charging port (stem) and I use that to move my documents around and do other finger gestures. The Xiron Stylus Pen has a plain plastic top with no cap. I suppose one could put a cap on it, but then you'd have to remove it to turn the pen on and off. Anyway, I am getting used to not touching the pen top. It is very sensitive, so if you're Stylus Pen stops working, just make sure the blue light is on. You may have unknowingly turned it off. The nib is very sharp and accurate, which makes it great for both note-taking and drawing. I prefer to use a matte screen protector. Xiron makes one that works well with the iPad Air. It makes the screen feel more like paper when writing with a stylus, and adds to your ability to control the nib. Over all, this is a high-quality stylus that fits great in the hand and feels very natural to write with. It is just a bit thicker than the Apple Pencil (1st Gen), but you would only notice that if you held both at the same time. It charges very quickly and the charge lasts a long time. For the price, it really can't be beat. There are a lot of alternatives to the Apple Pencil on the market, each with its own pros and cons. This one is one of the most affordable and full-functioning alternatives. If you are a student looking to take notes and doodle, or a writer like myself, you will love this stylus. ... show more
