Recently took a sourdough bread making class with my daughters and some granddaughters. What a fun way to learn about the benefits of sourdough. This kit is not essential - you can rough it and I did initially. However, it is really nice to have these extra supplies that make your bread making look more professional and make the project easier. The silicone "baskets" leave a nice impression on the bread if you choose to bake it in a cast iron pot. There is a product with a razor blade to score your dough to create interesting decorative patterns. There is also a dough cutter to help divide your dough into equal portions and a metal dough scraper which helps to get the dough off your counter top. This is a nice and inexpensive group of products to have and use. They are dishwasher safe, but I have handwashed them. The silicone bowls are collapsible and I store them that way with no trouble. I'm happy to have this set.

The plastic bowl scraper came damaged. The brushes and whisk are tinny, They’ll make great toys for my toddlers toy kitchen. The handle to the whisk is really short. The baskets are nice. I recommend just spending the extra money for another kit with full sized accessories. Younwill end up spending it, or more, to buy full size tools later if you get this kit

I just entered the world of sourdough and this set works well for me. The whisk and brushes worked fine for me, but will agree they are small in size. I baked my breads separately at 435’ each. I was quite happy how they came out! I built up my dough in a bowl then placed my treated dough into the baskets to proof. I popped out the proofed dough for final tug and tuck, then floured the baskets, put the dough back in and after 30min of baking for each loaf I got beautiful final “loafs”. Would recommend this set for beginning!

These are just as they are advertised. I thought I was gonna make a ton of bread with these, and I only used them once. They are great quality and are as good as the expensive ones. Just buy these and don’t spend a fortune on this bread hobby, you are probably only gonna do it twice.

The folding feature is great either to store the baskets or put them in the dishwasher. The tools are a great addition and help when making the dough, shaping and cutting! Also the baskets are conveniente and practical because you can proof and bake without having to transfer your dough. I will buy another set for a friend!
