This lock took only a moment to set the combination. The directions were straightforward and easy to use. The lock is robust. The loop is thin enough to fit into the lockers and the sports lockers. I really appreciate that the combination lock can be reset as much as you want to different codes, but also that you can have all the locks with the same number, so you won't forget. It's been a month or so and it's holding up well. Have the abus thirty dollar ones also. Those say they are stainless steel and copper but one failed After 3 weeks, couldn't get it opened. for 20 minutes. If it's in the elements like mine, they need to be wd40 or silicone sprayed at least once every month or they will start sticking and corrosion starts to build up on shank. For this price these are holding up incredibly well. I would think they are one hundred percent perfect for indoor or out of the elements use. ... show more
