Love the fireplace and the firebox but not quite sure what's going on with the remote control. I keep getting an 'L' with a flashing neon something. It appears when I try to adjust the flame or even the temp control. I'm going to wait and see what happens. Putting it together wasn't too bad by myself. I did run into an issue with the supports for the firebox. I ended up having to pre-dill tiny holes in order to use the brackets. The holes aren't already drilled. Also, the directions seem to be in the wrong order in a couple of places. Other than that not too much of a problem. Start to finish about 2.5-ish hours. ... show more

This seemed to be packaged well enough until all the pieces were unwrapped - 2 trim pieces were no longer attached to the main frame. We decided to live with it and try to fix it rather than go through all the trouble to box it up and ship it back. Probably not the wisest decision considering this fireplace unit runs more than $900.00 but I have to paint it anyway so it will match the other decor in the room. As for the size, it is great. The 36" firebox makes it seem very authentic. It is very heavy / sturdy and supports a 60" flat screen tv well. The flames and logs look as real as any I've seen. Like others have mentioned, the remote control for the TV does seem to interfere with the firebox and I'm not certain how to manage that aspect. I'm hoping my firebox isn't defective but on the 2nd night I had it, I noticed it was on at 4:35AM and I have no idea how it turned itself on. It's been a week now and I haven't noticed it doing it again. The heater takes the chill off the immediate vicinity. I do like it but am giving 3 stars due to the slight damage and it's a little over-priced in my opinion.     • small gaps but use dark tape in rear makes themless noticeable.
Love the size and would of even liked a larger one. Wish it had a little more design on it in a modern fashion. I do like the overall look. I am a 5ft 2 lady and once I laid it out in order I had no problem putting it together on my own.

Very nice product and it’s beautiful. Only issue is the remote control to my TV turns on the fireplace. Can’t figure that out. Not good because I’m using it in a vacation rental home.

It is just gorgeous and looks like a real fireplace not one of those fake jobs. The flame is gorgeous and very real looking. Very easy assembly. Great instructions. Very classy and sturdy. Love love it!!!

We love our new fireplace! Needed something that fit the wall and not look tiny. Heat works well, when needed. The flame is perfect-I forget it's fake! No regrets on this purchase. The mantle is large enough to sit dvd player and satellite box. Took about 1.5 hours to put together, but wasn't difficult. Would recommend! ... show more
