    • Good Value!
PROS: 4 digit combo is much higher security than 3 digit NOT A TSA LOCK! (is what I WANTED) VERY DELIGHTFULLY SURPRISED ! SOLID Little locks CONS: READ THE RECODING INSTRUCTIONS! Recoding FIRST lock was a pain! But after that, had zero problems recoding the other three. Overview: For being tiny little locks they are little mighty moes! Let's be real, these kind of locks aren't designed to keep out thieves, they are simply a deterrent, so what's that mind, They are an excellent Bang for the buck in my opinion! 10,000 combos vs 1000, SOLID LIL LOCKS! (Dont complain about small numbets, or combo wheels - you bought a SMALL lock. (What did you expect? 4in. Number wheels, on a tiny lock? LOL) ... show more

    • 4 number locks
The directions were a bit confusing, but finally figured it out. But one of the 4 locks doesn't work.

    • Works as intended for light security
Good for something like a backpack or luggage or fence door but not super high security. Cast-zinc case is going to be similar to something like aluminum. And the two halves are riveted together with what looks like 2 blind cast-in zinc rivets secured on one side in recessed holes. I'm guessing the rivets are of similar security to the case itself. Locking loop is good, sinks down into a metal countersunk hole that looks secure. I measured diameter .1455 inch locking loop ring, inside width of .466 inch and inside loop to case of .789 inch. With due care, code-changing works. I would try one digit first to get the hang of it. If you screw up 4 then you have 10,000 combinations to try. I would recommend these as good value for light deterrant security. Be careful for travel luggage as security might break them to look at your stuff, it's not TSA certified. I like 4 digits over 3, harder to brute force trying combinations. ... show more

    • An Intriguing Foray into Personal Security with GIVERARE 4-Pack Combination Locks
When it comes to securing my belongings, I don't compromise. So when I stumbled upon the GIVERARE 4-Pack Combination Lock set, my initial thought was that it offered the security features I needed. However, my experience with this product has been akin to a roller-coaster ride. On one hand, it's robust, feature-packed, and offers excellent value for money, but on the other hand, there are certain areas where it can use improvement. Let's delve deeper into the dimensions of my experience with these combination locks. I'll give you an insight into its highs and lows, balancing the features I found commendable with areas that could use further refinement. 🔐 Security that Comes in Fours: The primary advantage of this set is that it offers not one, but four combination locks. This is especially useful when you're securing multiple places simultaneously—be it your gym locker, school locker, or even an outdoor shed. I was highly pleased with the consistency in build quality across all four units. They're made of a sturdy metal that seems impervious to conventional tampering methods, and this alone speaks volumes about the product's primary function—security. 🔢 Easy-to-Use 4-Digit Combinations: Setting up the combination is a breeze. The four-digit numerical pad offers an additional layer of security when compared to standard three-digit locks. With thousands of possible combinations, I felt that my belongings were secure. The numerical wheels are smooth yet offer just the right amount of resistance, ensuring that accidental bumps won't easily change the set combination. 💼 Versatility in Application: These locks are as versatile as advertised. I have used them for a variety of applications ranging from securing my travel luggage to locking away garden tools in the shed. The locks offer a balanced blend of durability and usability, which I find to be indispensable for varying use-cases. 🌦 Weatherproof but with Caveats: The locks are advertised as being weatherproof, a feature that was particularly appealing to me for outdoor use. For the most part, they have held up well against elements like rain and humidity. However, there were instances when I found a bit of rusting around the edges. While this didn't affect the lock's functionality, it did raise questions about its long-term resilience. Some Quirks and Considerations 🤔 Resetting Complexities: While the resettable function is handy, the process to do so can be a bit tricky. A few times, I found myself struggling to set a new combination. This could be smoother, and the accompanying instructions could certainly be clearer. The Final Verdict Taking everything into account, the GIVERARE 4-Pack Combination Lock set offers considerable bang for your buck. The advantages overwhelmingly outweigh the minor flaws. However, considering the occasional rusting and the slight complexity in resetting combinations, I can't wholeheartedly give it a perfect score. To those in need of a multipurpose, robust, yet affordable security solution, this set certainly deserves consideration. It has served me well in numerous scenarios, and it offers more than what its price tag would suggest. I hope this comprehensive review has shed light on what you can expect from the GIVERARE 4-Pack Combination Lock set. May it help you make a more informed decision, as a secure future is always better than leaving things to chance. ... show more

    • Broke on first trip
I bought the Giverare 4-pack combination locks for a few reasons. I wanted a 4-digit combination with a long shackle to use on carry-on bags/suitcases, so the TSA friendly ones weren't necessary. This product seemed to have decent enough reviews and the price was right. On my first trip, 2 locks broke. One can't be relocked. The other can't be opened (fortunately, it was stuck on the zipper). Resetting the combination doesn't work. The combination mechanism must be poorly constructed. I have locks that have been banged up pretty bad through hundreds of flights over many years that are still very much usable. Since it's past the 30-day return window, I'm stuck with these locks. One faulty lock is an anomaly. Two is a pattern. I definitely do not recommend them. ... show more

    • Great Locks… Just Don’t Lose Your Glasses
These little locks work perfectly for my backpack, gym locker, and even a storage box. Setting the combo was easy, but after a shower without my glasses, squinting at the tiny numbers turned into a 5-minute puzzle. Big fingers didn’t help either! Bottom line: Solid, secure, and easy to use — just make sure you can see the numbers clearly. ... show more
