I purchased this lock for my daughter to use on her gym locker so she does not need to remember a combo or keep up with a key. She loves the lock and it makes things easy for her. The only thing I would like is for the lock to be a little larger. It’s not quite as large as a standard padlock but works on her locker. I needed a new lock for my locker at the gym. The 4 number combination one I was using was very hard for me to see the dial and numbers. So it was taking me a long time to get into my locker. I did not want a keyed letter lock cause I was afraid that I might lose it. When I saw this one, I knew this was the one for me! Unlock function via app and finger print has been reliable. The app works fine and is good for checking battery level. Set up and registering multiple finger prints was simple. Decided to get 3 different sizes of the eLinkSmart lock. Small YL-P8BF, Medium YL-P6BF, Large YL-P9BF. Convenient to be able to manage all 3 locks in the same app. Small lock is light duty and nice for a backpack, small lock box, etc. Medium lock works well for a gym locker, cabinet, gate, etc. Large lock is heavy duty and good for a heavy bike chain, large gate / door, etc. Nice not having to bother with keys or combinations. I like this lock because I can just use my print to open it and the app also allows you to store several prints in the app so I used a couple different fingerprints to store in mine and I also stored my daughter’s print so she could get into it to if she needed to.

Be cautious! ONLY the one model has an app with it. The other colors beside the ap black do not. The lock is very small. I am talking this lock is only good for something maybe like a small locker or a small box. I would not trust it for use on anything that had any real valuables to be secured like money.
