Definitely felt sturdy when I got it. It’s a little bigger and heavier than I thought and what I needed it for but definitely feels secure. Because of all the negative reviews saying that it doesn’t unlock so I tested it out a couple of times when I got it. It works fine! Just make sure you are putting in the combo right side up, one time in the test I accidentally put in my combo facing the back and of course it didn’t unlock. Freaked out for a second before realizing what I did. But other than that it works great!! But just be aware how thick the ring is. I wanted inside my purse but had a hard time finding a good spot for it due to the thickness of the ring and to just put it on a key ring kind of defeats it’s purpose…. But I am sure something like a bike or luggage would have no issues! UPDATE: The seller refunded my purchase (without sending the old one back) and I was able to cut the lock and recover the airtag. I then ordered a new one and thoroughly tested it before installing the airtag and it works great. Warning, test the lock thoroughly before installing your Airtag. My lock came, opened and installed my Airtag, then went to open again using the factory 000 combination and the lock will not open. Would return but can't because I can't get the Airtag out of it. Have to open to change the combinaton. I have contacted Raptic but haven't had any response. Will edit my review if they somehow make it right, otherwise I definitely wouldn't recommend. ... show more

Would highly recommend this!!! Yes it’s a bit pricey but so worth it. My daughter would keep her air tag wrist band on so I had to get this and put it on her backpack for school. I absolutely love it!!!

I have been in search of a product that can hold an AirTag SECURELY in place, to make it as impossible for a thief to simply rip the AirTag off and runaway with my items. This is the ONLY thing I could find that SEEMED to have it all. Carabiner with combination lock? GREAT, or so I thought. The numbers are almost impossible to see. The lock with NOT lock unless it is IN the correct combination. The locking mechanism is as weak as it can be. If someone wants to steps whatever this is protecting, they are going to do so with NOT much of an effort. Though the carabiner seems strong from afar, the locking mechanism feels flimsy and weak. I'm certain the carabiner itself could be bent and the AirTag tossed away. Not to mention the Combination Change mechanism makes it easy to make a mistake and end up with a Locked and unusable device. Not worth the money. Especially when it's a $30 carabiner with a plastic insert. I am extremely surprised that NO ONE else has come up with a similar product. It's NOTHING but a PLASTIC AirTag holder that's been molded to fit into a carabiner with a combination lock. NOTHING more. ... show more

I bought this for my son-in-law because they travel a lot. You can attach this to anything with a small hook on it. The day after I received it, I read in the newspaper about someone finding their stolen car because they had an AirTag attached to it. That’s all I needed to know.

We purchased two of these for domestic and overseas travel. We put the AirTags into them and fastened them around the interior metal frames of our checked luggage, so they couldn’t be removed without disassembling the luggage. Our luggage was lost upon our arrival in Israel. Because the luggage contained AirTags, we knew where our luggage was located. We then bought two more to secure the AirTags to an inobvious metal piece in the trunks of our cars. Highly recommended. DO NOT forget your combination. There is no way to open them without the correct combination. We recorded our combinations in Notes on our phones and in a notebook in a safe location in our home. ... show more

Strong, but the plastic enclosure muffles the airtag beacon This item is much larger than it appears in the photos. The manufacturing of this item is good, but the airtag beacon (when you press the play sound option in your "find my" app) is muffled by all the plastic around the airtag itself. They conveniently have an opening for the chrome/metal apple logo piece, but the sound of the airtag eminates from the OTHER side, the plastic side, not the metal side. This device basically makes the airtag beacon almost inaudible when incased in the plastic shell, and the construction makes it impossible to reverse the airtag so that plastic side is at the opening. Sadly, while it might not be preventing the location from being detected (in most circumstances) it is definitely impacting it, so you might not easily find this airtag unless it's attached to something big/bulky. I suspect that if someone has a pair of vice-grips (or similarly hinged tool) that they may crush the outer plastic encapsulation causing the airtag to be removed (and subsequently re-paired by the 'new owner', once they get the item/airtag home). Drilling a couple holes on the other side of the plastic enclosure would do a lot to increase the audible volume of the airtag beacon, for sure, but then that would also weaken the enclosure (best if the manufacturer made those holes themself). The hinge of the locking clasp is loose, too loose in my opinion, but it works well, and will probably keep it from being a quick getaway, but unless you need to have something this overt (that stands out), one might opt for a more subversive mounting of the airtag (e.g. hidden), if possible. ... show more
