It is not high quality but okay for a child. Some of the slats were bowed. You might need an electric screw driver for slats. The are no prepped holes for them. The maximum weight is 300 lbs be sure to allow for the mattress.

For being a queen size frame, it can hold so little weight. We accidentally bought it not realizing the weight limit and felt like it honestly had to be VERY thin and light people who could get away with sleeping in this frame. Once it came, it was hard to figure out the inductions on how to assemble it and the difficulty to return it would have been a headache. It's not worth paying for the low quality. If you're one person who can't afford a nicer bed, this would do in a pinch, but for more than one, it would probably fall apart. ... show more

The wood for this bed is subpar but you get what you pay for. All in all I think it was an ok purchase. I wish it was stronger and the renforcement on the corners of the bed were better.

I loved the bed for the price, I was worried about how thin the legs of the bed but it is quite firm, the rails are made of pure wood the headboard is firm except for the frame in the middle is made of a material like triplay not very beautiful but I loved the rest
