Got this one because of its GPH flow rate which was more than the HD version and cheaper. Received it and basically did a few minor flex tube adjustments and it was running, running like a champ. For a Little pond pump this is really a good strong performer. I've used it under two different circumstances. In one case I pumped water over 30 feet and ran it through a barrel filter and it was amazing how well it kept up. Now I'm using it as an oxygen producer simply to create a forward water motion and bubbles for oxygen. The cloth bag filters well and doesn't require high maintenance.

Well-made pump and priced right for the quality. It’s quiet, sturdy, and easy to set up, and the long power cord is a big plus. Unfortunately, it wasn’t powerful enough to shoot water up to my waterfall, even at the highest setting. I ended up returning it and going with a stronger 2900 GPH pump instead. Would still be a good option for smaller ponds or fountains where less power is needed.

Pump has completely stopped within a week of being set up in my pond. The second pump is still running and has no issues, but for some reason the first pump ordered is already no longer moving water at all. There’s no signs of damage and I would like a replacement but it doesn’t seem to be an option. For $105 I was hoping these would last a few years, since the old ones were smaller and 5yrs+ old. If I need to return for a replacement please let me know

This is a very well made product. Assembly is simple and connection to almost any fitting is facilitated by a tapered outlet connection. The pump is well designed and is easily maintained with just a simple disassembly which is very clearly described in the manual. Highly recommend this product.

I’ve run this pump for two years in my koi pond, providing water to my bio-falls, about a 6 foot rise. No problems at all. I replaced a much more expensive pump that did last for many years a but at 5x the price. So far I’ve been pleased with the performance.
