  • Delivers a delicious cup of coffee quickly without the complexity.
Color: Matte Black
Sometime within the last two generations, coffee making became something that required taking a class at UC Berkeley! Taking my something my Grandmother lovingly made each morning into a science experiment. In a world where everything needs to be “optimized”, this brew method is an elegant solution that yields a consistent brew with minimal effort. Yes, you could nerd out by measuring your grounds to the tenth or hundredth place. Even weigh your water. Or analyze each ground for uniformity. But if you desire simplicity, this brewer will deliver a delicious cup of coffee, consistently, if you’re willing to turn off the internet noise about coffee making. Buy a small batch of commercially pre-ground beans and follow the included cheat sheet. Scoop (not weigh) the grounds into the paper lined basket. Then place the water dispenser over the basket. Quickly fill the water dispenser to the desired volume marking with hot water. Wait. After 2 minutes, remove & rinse out the OXO pour-over kit and enjoy. Not necessarily the best cup of coffee, but an enjoyable consistent cup-of-joe without compulsive rituals. Simply accept the minor imperfections and embrace happy accidents each morning before some immature buffoon starts tweeting. ... show more

  • Best Pour-Over Coffee Maker
Color: Matte Black
I will say right off the bat, I am lazy when it comes to making coffee! I did not want to use my Keurig coffee maker anymore, constantly having to clean it was a pain, I wanted simple...This thing is super easy to clean, and makes an awesome cup of coffee with no effort, the top water container does the pour over magic for you! So easy, and perfect for lazy coffee drinkers like me lol ... show more

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super Convenient, Great Coffee — Just One Small Design Quirk
Color: White
This little OXO pour‑over has become one of my favorite morning tools. It’s incredibly convenient — you literally pour the hot water in once and let the device handle the rest. The built‑in water reservoir regulates the flow perfectly, so you get a smooth, consistent cup every time without having to stand there and babysit the brew. The coffee quality is excellent, far better than what I get from a standard drip machine. Cleanup is quick, the footprint is small, and it’s easy to stash in a cabinet when not in use. My only minor complaint is the fit between the water reservoir and the filter cone. The lip could be a little deeper or more secure. Just about every time I move it from the cabinet to the counter, the reservoir pops off and goes crashing to the floor. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. Even with that small quirk, this is still a fantastic single‑serve pour‑over system. The convenience, consistency, and great‑tasting coffee make it absolutely worth it. I’d buy it again without hesitation. ... show more

  • Great cup of coffee!
Color: White
This is exactly what I was looking for; an easy way to make fresh delicious coffee without any mess that is consistent every day. We have a Keurig, but to me the coffee just doesn’t taste good. The Keurig does brew coffee quickly, but if it doesn’t taste good, then what’s the point? This pour-over system is very easy to use, it fits my coffee cup perfectly, it makes it easy to dispose of the grounds, and clean up is a breeze. It’s also very light (its plastic) so if you wanted to take it with you traveling you definitely could. I think for the price and the value you get, especially the great taste, this is the way to go. You can buy ground coffee on sale at the grocery store for 1/3 the price of K cups. In the end, taste is the most important factor to me, and while pour over brewing does take a few minutes longer than using a Keurig, it’s definitely worth the time. ... show more

  • Works well but 100% plastic
Color: White
My bad. I guess I didn't read product specs. This product is 100% plastic. Guess I was hoping for glass and ceramic ; ) My reason for switching to pour over was to avoid the heated plastic of a drip maker. Don't get me wrong, the lazy factor of this little unit is huge. No standing there slowly pouring your hot water in perfect circles over your freshly ground beans. No, just quickly fill the clear reservoir, cover with the lid and walk away. Come back in about a minute to a fresh, hot cup of coffee, albeit with a smidge of plastic added in. I used it for about a week, trying to justify in my mind that it was probably just a minute amount. But I got over my lazy self and went back to my stainless filter and glass carafe. A good product for someone who drinks a single cup and doesn't mind the plastic issue. ... show more

  • The Perfect Cup, Simplified
Color: White
As a committed coffee lover, I approach single-serve gadgets with skepticism, but the OXO Brew Single Serve Pour-Over Coffee Maker truly earns its perfect five-star rating. Its greatest triumph—the definitive pro—is solving the complex variable of water distribution. The patented "rainmaker" lid ensures an even saturation of grounds every time, eliminating the guesswork and human error inherent in free-hand pouring. This consistency means every cup, from morning rush to afternoon ritual, is perfectly extracted, delivering the full flavor profile of my beans without over- or under-extraction. It’s a remarkable piece of engineering that brings true specialty coffee quality to the convenience of a single daily mug. Beyond the perfect brew, the OXO maker shines in its thoughtful, user-friendly design. The transparent lid serves not only as the rainmaker but also doubles as a convenient stand to catch drips after brewing, keeping the counter clean—a pro I appreciate every morning. The materials are sturdy, and the intuitive measurement markings allow for precise coffee-to-water ratios without needing a separate scale, making the setup fast and foolproof. If I had to search for any cons, they would be minimal: the plastic construction might not feel as high-end as ceramic or glass, and you must ensure you have the correct #2 cone filters. However, these are insignificant quibbles given the reliable and delicious results it delivers day after day. This OXO pour-over maker is, quite simply, an essential piece of gear for anyone who wants café-quality coffee at home without the cost or counter space of a full machine. It offers the depth and nuance of a slow pour-over, but with an accelerated, repeatable process that is ideal for daily life. For the price, the flavor consistency it guarantees is unmatched. It’s durable, smart, and delivers exceptional coffee—a clear and enthusiastic five-star recommendation that has become a staple in my morning routine. ... show more

  • Easy, inexpensive, & good cup of coffee
Color: White
Made my first cup this morning. The process was simple & the coffee came out so much better than my very cheap single-serve K-Cup & grounds option machine I've been using (which broke a few days ago). We've been living in our RV for over a year, and will continue to for a few more months until our house is built, so I need something small for now. I already have an electric kettle that we use for tea. I didn't bother with digging my kitchen scale out of storage. I don't care to spend money on a coffee grinder; I'm perfectly satisfied with pre-ground coffee. I'm just not one of those who enjoy the time & effort involved in playing around with the ratios and recipes that go along with a traditional pour-over coffee setup. My husband had all of that, including a fancy goose-neck kettle and grinder, and a Chemex, a few years ago, before he gave up coffee altogether. Cleanup of the OXO was a breeze. Just what I was looking for to make a quick and very good-tasting cup of coffee. I'm very satisfied. ... show more

  • Tip To Keep Reservoir Looking Good!
Color: White
1. This unit is comprised of a dripper to place on any mug/cup, the water reservoir to place atop the dripper, and the lid (which can also be used as a coaster/ drip catcher). Also included are 10 #2, unbleached filters. 2. OXO recommends #2 filters, so it's nice that they included them. However, standard basket filters, which are much cheaper, can be easily converted to cones. Simply flatten the basket filters, bring the bottom up so it looks like a taco, then bring one side of that "taco" to the center. You'll know you did it right if it looks like a cone. I'm sure there are many online tutorials if you don't mind listening to someone tell you for 5 minutes what they're *going* to do lol. Anyway, it's much cheaper, so practice until you get the hang of it. I also cut discs out of regular filters for units requiring those. 3. This unit is plastic (BPA-free), which is nice because it doesn't get hot; the heat remains in the water, keeping the coffee hot. The dripper interior is dark, a charcoal gray, so there won't be any visible staining. 4. The advantage to this system is not having to stand there while it's draining. And I fully take advantage of that by not wetting the filter before use (I've never done that for *any* method of coffee making, and don't notice any "paper taste " whatever that is), or "blooming" the grounds. 5. The reservoir holes are not of uniform size. Some stream, while others drip. This is a quality control issue, surprising for OXO. Also, the holes are positioned so that, while all of the grounds are hit by the water, *it's not uniformly so*. You can tell by the "hole" in the center of the brewed grounds. This is a design defect, which needs addressing. 6. You *can* use the dripper as you would a Melitta cone by not using the reservoir--if you want to stand there the way you have to with Melitta and other pour over systems. So there are positives and negatives. Happily, the coffee was delicious--after adjusting for the defects. BTW, I didn't grind my own coffee or use a special grind; I used the same store-bought coffee I use for the drip coffeemaker and other pour over methods. It's possible to lift the reservoir after filling with water, and swirl it a bit to get a little more extraction from the grounds along the sides, but I didn't even want to do that. I simply added a little more coffee and that worked for me! I want a fast system and this suits me. I boil 10 oz of water, and don't even need to look at the reservoir marks. Once you figure out your coffee to water ratio, it'll work for you, too, so I do ultimately recommend this product. It's also worth noting that OXO did not invent this type of reservoir pour over system. Drip-o-lators have been around for some time. I am the pour-over queen lol so, as well as the Melitta, I also have a small, vintage, aluminum Wearever drip pot, #3042, which I've used for decades. Those tiny holes are perfectly spaced and configured so as to uniformly saturate the grounds without my standing there with measured pouring (as I have to do with the Melitta cone), so OXO should be able to do the same thing. And, PLEASE, how about some colors? A "happy" yellow, among others, would be nice! EDIT: After using this daily for about 6 weeks, I've added another star! Despite some design defects mentioned above, this quickly makes a great cup of coffee. Another thing you can do with pour overs is sprinkle cinnamon over the coffee grounds before brewing. That will clog drip machines, and cinnamon doesn't mix with liquids so you can't just add it to coffee. BUT sprinkling over grounds with this system extracts the flavorful cinnamon oils. Nice! Update: I like this so much, I ordered the black, and love it! This option was not available earlier, so it pays to check back in from time to time. **I've had the black unit now for two months, and the plastic reservoir looks good as new! Here's why: I'm wiping it down after use, instead of letting it air dry. It's that simple. It didn't take long for my first one to develop clouding as a ring around the holes at the bottom, and around the top of the reservoir. All water, unless distilled (and tasteless) has minerals, and some regions have even harder than normal water. While these deposits can usually be scrubbed off metals, they get absorbed into plastics. Some water is so mineral dense that it can result in tiny cracks or fissures. The next time you brew you coffee, notice where the water "collects" in the reservoir after the brewing's complete: at the bottom and as condensation around the inside top of the reservoir. If allowed to dry, you'll eventually see a cloudy ring in both areas, possibly also with cracks and fissures. So a simple wipe down with a kitchen towel or toweling is all it takes to keep your reservoir looking like new. Also, remember that this is food and medical grade plastic, so the alarmism about leaching microplastics is misplaced. Don't worry about it and enjoy the product! ... show more
