They stuck to the wall with a little pressure and have had no problems with them falling off. It was very easy to install and gives the new parents peace of mind while baby sleeps. There is a special place in tech hell for devices like the Owlet Cam — products so needlessly complicated, that they transform a simple task into a full-blown existential crisis. All I wanted was to see my baby sleep. Instead, I spent 45 minutes crouched on the floor, cycling between the app, my router, and my increasingly fragile will to live. The camera refused to connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi — apparently, the standard frequency of modern civilization was a bridge too far. I even had to pull out my laptop, log into my Wi-Fi provider’s account, and manually split the network to 2.4GHz like I was performing open-heart surgery on my own internet. ?! What does 2.4GHz even mean?! And after all that? Nothing. Not a single frame. Just a blinking light and the faint sound of my own sanity evaporating. No new mom should have to moonlight as a network engineer while a “smart” baby monitor refuses to acknowledge her existence. The Owlet Cam is the dumbest baby monitor on the market. It doesn’t deliver peace of mind — it demands it as a sacrifice. Final verdict: It never connected. Not once. Save your money, your time, your sanity - buy the Nanit.

I love having this camera! I’m able to watch my daughter while typing this review right now. Yes the signal can get spotty at times but overall it’s reliable. I wouldn’t recommend this camera if you live somewhere with ZERO internet signal/connection, but everyone else should definitely try this one.

If I could give this camera zero stars I would. This camera worked great for the first view months. Although there was always a few things that didn’t work like being able to connect it to multiple networks and the camera was never able to scan the QR code easily at set up. However we were able to figure out things to make it work and we were able to use it. However after a few months it just stopped working. Despite trying everything that support has suggested I cannot get the Owlet to connect to the internet and work properly. The last thing that support suggested was whitelisting certain network ports on my router so that the camera can work but that is not something I can do and is far too complicated to figure out. It is not user friendly and the connection is so temperamental that is I was scared to touch it even when it did work. DO NOT BUY

TL;DR Frustrating to set up or use when traveling, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. This camera is fine (video/audio/night vision), but the most infuriating and obnoxious part is trying to connect it to WiFi and pair with your phone/account. If you have to change WiFi (traveling, change ISP, etc.) you have to repeat the ENTIRE process and it never works the first 20 times (camera light won't blink, or won't say it's ready to pair, or won't read the QT code, or won't connect). Last time I ended up on the phone with tech support after trying all the troubleshooting things (i.e. making sure phone is on the same WiFi, the WiFi is 2.4GHz, etc.). Eventually just by trying for the 87th time, it ~*decided*~ to complete the process and connect. My husband tried to create and account and set up the camera on his phone/app/account, and it booted the camera from MY account, without ever working on his phone, so I had to again repeat the whole stupid process to get the camera working on my phone. Pro tip: don't set up a different account for other users, just use the login information for whoever set up the camera. Also, since it requires an app on your phone, unless you have a dedicated tablet set up with the app, good luck figuring out how Grandma or a babysitter would be able to use the device in your absence, unless you are cool with them downloading the app and giving them your username/password! Another minor annoyance is when using the sleep log, if you press the "Tap to start sleep session", but try to edit the start time, it automatically ends the session. Look, sometimes I don't have my phone on me or my hands are busy when the baby falls asleep, so I want to adjust the start time after I extricate myself, but before the little monster wakes up. I don't want to enter both start and end times manually later. It defeats the purpose of the app sleep session function. We don't use the sleep sock, but I can only imagine I would have absolutely lost my mind trying to get yet another component to work in this system. Also, from a friend who used the sock - the false alarms from the sock moving or falling off caused too much panic to be worth using it.

Camera overall is good! Whats frustrating is it seemed to struggle connecting to our wifi. We got a different brand camera a few months after this one, and its had 0 issues.
