  • Six year old niece loved it.
Color: White
I don't really have first hand knowledge about the product as it was a gift to my niece's 6 year old daughter. But the feedback from my Niece, her daughter and her grandmother was quite positive. It was a definite hit. Value for the money? I thought it was on the expensive side, but bringing joy to my niece's daughter was worth it in the end. Durability? We'll see. So far so good. ... show more

  • Impressive but a little intense!
Color: White
We recently received Owleez in white and my kids (5 & 7) were immediately drawn to its cute appearance and many interactive features. Thankfully it charged pretty quickly using its included USB cable. I love that the cable is attached to the nest so there's no chance of kids losing it. At first it reminded me of one of the "Fingerling" toys because of the interaction, nurturing, and noises but the features of the Owleez exceed that of other toys we have tried. The color changing eyes and included instructions make it easy for kids to understand what it wants and my kids particularly enjoyed the color changing game it plays. As for the flight feature, while it is certainly impressive and something we've never seen before, my kids are actually a bit scared of it. They enjoyed "teaching" him to fly and wanted to try it several times for him to get better but each time it actually took off, my kids got nervous about how to catch or guide it. My 7 year old said it seemed like a drone. It can also be a little challenging to find a space in your house for it to fly. So far it hasn't crashed into anything except the floor and it is very lightweight but I worry about it hitting the TV or a lamp. The instructions say that it does get better at flying with more practice so maybe we will figure that out more as we continue to play with it. Overall, I think it is a pretty cool little toys best suited for kids 8-10 years old. ... show more

  • Got the warehouse deal
Color: White
It’s a cute little owl i got mine in the warehouse deals. Warehouse said it had some cosmetic damage but as usually there wasn’t a scrape on it. The food that was suppose to come with it, was missing, so we won’t be using that part. Hopefully that doesn’t effect its success in use. I haven’t given it to the kids yet. I did take it out, it is a little startling the first time the owl pops up to attempt to fly. I had read enough reviews to know better and stood way back, so it wasn’t bad. My kids will be fine with it. His singing is cute and he seems steady enough. I always test toys that are electronic before gifting to my kids, especially if a warehouse deal since there is Good chance it was Dropped or damaged in some way. I’ll be trying this one a few more times to make sure the drone aspect of it works. ... show more

  • Reviews were terrifying but works great. Only charge via computer NEVER a usb block!
Color: White
I was very skeptical about this purchase as the reviews were awful, overall it’s been a great toy. No issues with it flying, no self decapitation or malfunctions. I saw quite a few reviews saying it wouldn’t fly after charging and in the instructions it specifically says to charge it with its usb to a computer to never plug it into a usb block, I’m assuming it would be too much power and it just needs to be charged at a lower capacity which I believe is why others may of had issues, read the instructions and it will work great. My Daughter loves it. The pink one being $10 more then the white one is a bit redundant though. Same toy just cheaper if you go with the white one but whatever. ... show more

  • Great gift for girls, but....
Color: White
I bought this for my niece as a Christmas gift. Since both her and her brother are so close in age, usually, I try to gift both a similar theme gift. He got a small drone and she got this cute owl - that flies too! This was so adorable and she has fun interacting with it. But I will always remember the gleeful giggles for its first flight! This little bird was worth every penny! The only reason I have this four stars instead of five is I ordered the white one specifically because the person I was giving it to loves the color white and hates pink. Guess what she received? Yep, the darn pink owl! That was a bit disappointing but it still turned out to be an excellent toy! ... show more

  • Fun toy
Color: White
My child asked for it and would love playing with it. She did run and kept distance when trying to make it fly, it is a bit scary, but in an exciting way if that makes sense. When we have had kids visiting our house it’s one of those toys they’re excited to play with.

  • Love it!
Color: White
There's only one thing that is hard to do with this owl and that's gettin it to fly. It will not just fly for you. You must actually train it to fly lik a real owl has to learn to fly. It took me 3 months until I finally was able to get it to fly but beware....just because you get it to fly 1, 3, 7 or 15 times doesn't mean the next time you want it to fly, it will actually fly for you. Sometimes this owl seems so real when it comes to the different things it can do and the different things it can actually learn from you teaching it how to do things. ... show more

  • So fun!
Color: White
We got this toy yesterday afternoon and so far this has been the absolute best toy I have ever gotten my daughter. She loves taking care of it and it’s so neat to see it fly. I can’t think of anything we don’t like about it yet. It keeps her laughing, dancing and she is becoming so maternal over it. She’s named it fuzzy and she’s a girl Owleez. It seems to be pretty durable since it’s crashed into our brick fireplace several times and is doing just fine. Despite it saying it’s for 6+ my 4 year old is doing great with it. ... show more
