Update (original review below). Manufacturer reached out to me after my review and discussed what printing settings I had tried. After some troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new roll to try. The new roll arrived quickly and after a bit of fiddling I managed to get two great prints out of the new roll. I will say that the filament was a bit more finicky than normal PLA but once I got the settings right it looks great. I attached two pictures above, one showing the quality of prints of an octopus. The initial roll is in front and the completed print is in the background and the second picture. I highly recommend this filament and would not hesitate to buy it again despite the initial issues due to the manufacturer's excellent customer service. I will start off by saying that this filament looks great based on the layers that I could get to print properly. That being said, getting this to print without adhesion and clogging has been impossible for me with various settings. Adhesion to the bed seems great and the first few layers print very well. After a few layers though it seems like the filament begins to clog the nozzle and then skips layers, eventually ceasing to print entirely. I have tried adjusting temperature upward in increments and also slowed down the print speed, but I cannot get good layers. I also hear a popping noise from the nozzle which makes me think that the filament might contain excess moisture. I have tried the exact same file with both normal PLA and PETG and it prints fine which seems to indicate that the culprit is this filament. If you can get this to print successfully I think it would look fantastic, but I have not been successful so far.

Great filament at a great price! The filament was nicely wound, accurate and dimensionally true, and did not seem to be “wet” like a lot of filaments seem to come these days, often requiring drying before use. I needed this specific filament to print a lamp for my daughter and it worked perfect! She was extremely happy with it and that makes it all worth it!

Currently running this in an H2C with 2 AMS 2 Pros. Stone Gradient PLA Out of those 8 filament slots this is the only one that consistently gives me trouble, I've tried using generic pla settings the exact settings on the roll, and settings found online. But it constantly fails prints mid way through. With the printer noting that the extruder is being over worked. The minimal prints I have gotten out of it before it fails come out mostly grey the color transition is there slightly but not as pronounced as the image shows. Overall I've lost significant amount of time failing prints with this filament and the cost of the filament.

Had to return the first spool cause I guess it was too moist even after drying via my ams. The second spool I got had absolutely no issues. As for the quality, the color is great and looks very stone like. I would argue that some people may not like how it doesnt transition fast enough between the gradient of colors. It's hard to explain and the attached picture of rocky doesnt really help explain my point. Regardless I'm sure you'll like it enough.
