So, I received this today and needed to cut my hair ASAP. I was totally thrilled that it came 100% charged and ready to use. Battery life states 96% AFTER I finished cutting. GREAT! I have been attempting to use a Panasonic unit that has built in combs which clogged after a few seconds and had to be cleaned out. Took forever and didn't cut hair well but it was designed for cutting your own hair and was easy to hold. This unit is more of a traditional clipper design so it can be a bit clumsy until you get used to it. The LEFT and RIGHT angled combs were perfect for the sides. While I did a good enough job on my first try, I imagine I will get proficient with this system pretty quick. There are enough combs (12 for the large unit and 4 for the trimmer) to allow you to taper any way you need (I was a bit scared wondering where to start). The clipper was very quiet and didn't heat up in my hand at all Cutting went very quickly, came out good, and I guess I'll recover the cost the second time I use it. Worth the price.

Just received the Ovlux cordless clippers and the build quality is very good. I bought it to replace a Wahl cordless - battery died after 5 years. First the clipper itself is well constructed with a bright LED battery life indicator. Feels very ergonomic in my hand. Motor is very quiet. The cutting guides are outstanding with metal backing and easy-to-read size etched on the bottom. Battery life - it arrived fully charged. So far only used it once, but I started at 100% and ended with 88%. I turned it off when switching cutting guides. Total time it was on was around 15 minutes. I use these clippers to cut my own hair and it does a great job. It doesn't bog down. Very good value for the money. I highly recommend. UPDATE: 28 November 2025 I've used these clippers for a little over 2 1/2 years and the performance has been outstanding. I use the clippers once every two weeks for about 20 min of on/off/on use - to change cutting guides. Battery life is great. I recharge once every two months. Blades are still sharp. Best clippers I have ever owned. Highly recommend.

These are a terrific buy. At 57.99 Listed on Amazon, It will pay for itself in just a few uses. I, Myself, like to "Do-It-Yourself" and just shave my head on 2 and i have been doing it since High School. There is not much sense in going to a Barber for a straight 2 shave on your head, there is no layering to do or anything like that so its simple and easy to use. Average trip to the Barber costs about 20 bucks maybe 25-30. These clippers will pay for themselves in 2-3 uses. Comes with all items displayed in the attached photo. Clippers feel heavy, as soon as you pick up the box and before you open it, you know. These are the last clippers i will ever have to buy, finally, i've found them! One star missing for a bag and no case, these clippers deserve a case not a velvety bag. Also no Color Coordination on the Length Attachments and only 6 options. Other than that this is a solid purchase i would recommend to anybody.

I used to use a corded one to cut my boyfriends hair, it was annoying cause the cord was short so you had to be up on the outlet, not leaving room to really move...So I bought this one, it adjusted great, cones with tons of accessories, the blades is sharp so it doesn't pull his hair, it is very durable and great quality, the battery last forever, speed is great I use it atleast once a month on his hair, very easy to use, you could also use it for pets. I bought one for my dad too. He loves it it fades well too.

I wasn’t expecting these to be as good as they are at the price but they are great. They’re solid medal. There’s a ton of comb lengths. The best part is there is no pull on my beard hair. I couldn’t believe how nice they were when I opened them. These are great clippers.

I was in need of a set of wireless clippers because of the ones I have are traditional with power cord attached and it’s always getting in the way. I came across these and they blew my mind how perfect they are. They’re wireless of course but the display that show how much power is left is awesome. There is no guessing when it needs to be plugged in or charged because it shows you right on the device. It feels like a quality product too because it has some weight to it. You definitely know it’s a premium clipper. It feels and looks professional. As I used this clipper, it felt comfortable. It did not feel awkward as my wired ones were when I was moving around to get a better position. All the accessories felt like a bonus. The scissors and adjustable sizes makes the this a complete set and is just great. Bottom line is that this clipper set is a quality professional clipper for a great price and has everything you want for a device like this. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a wireless clipper.

Haircuts are not fun with a 3-year-old, but oh so important. My son has tubes in his ears, and hair washes, even with earplugs in, are awful. He's always terrified of getting water in his ears, and with longer hair, it's always a lengthy, difficult process to wet, wash, and rinse his hair without getting him upset. But if baths are hard, haircuts are harder. We've tried to get him to accept a stranger cutting his hair with clippers at a hair salon to no avail--the clippers are invariably too loud, too scary, and cutting with scissors only gets the hair so short for so long, and each time it's an ordeal. Enter his newborn sister and the COVID pandemic, and the hair salon was no longer even an option, leaving this untrained, non-hair-dresser Mom without any viable options. Enter these clippers. Wow. They took a seemingly impossible task and made it a five-minute-long non-issue. These clippers are quiet, fast, and super high quality. My son wasn't scared of them and actually was turning them off and on before first use. When I first ran them through his hair, I realized in a moment of elation that if I could get him to let me do that same motion just another 10-20 times, the haircut would be OVER--they are that effective on the first go! The adjustable attachments snap into place and won't come off during the cut, and the variety of lengths makes it so that I can continue doing this for him at home even as he gets bigger if he wants. Long story short, I'm not a fancy hair stylist or a young person trying to do cool tricks with these clippers, just a desperate mom whose son needed a haircut. If you're like me, foot the $60 and save yourself the time, hassle, and expense of the trip to the salon. You'll make up the money spent in no time AND be glad you did!!
