Brief Context: After scouring amazon for the best boneless couch to suit my new apartment, I selected this model because it had: -highest seat height from the ground and the longest seat depth than other models -bigger (wider & taller) back pillows for support. ARRIVAL: The package said arrived with no boxes to be found. After reading many reviews I knew that they'd likely come on different days with a single tracking number so I waited a day and behold- they arrived. The boxes were cumbersome to say the least. Very heavy and just absolutely solid. If it wasn't for my leasing office helping me load it onto a spare utility cart (two men to lift) I would have never been able to move them into my apartment! UNBOXING: They're tightly rolled in industrial saran wrap. Simply break the sticker at the edge and pull to unroll. Once they are unrolled you'll hear air seeping into the package as they start to expand, you'll still need to cut the actual airtight packaging and they'll rapidly puff up! GETTING IT TO FLUFF: Now, the package says to "gently tap" the couch to get it to expand and in my experience, that's incorrect. I wouldn't necessarily take a bat to this is thing but *It is absolutely essential to BREAK the material in for it to expand*, I cannot stress this enough. For instance- the little side pillow in the picture felt like an actual rock- I knew there was no way it would just magically expand on its own so over the course of the night I gave the couch and all the pillows a rather intense shiatsu massage lol. Like very roughly folded, crumpled, jumped, kicked, beat, sat, walked-on and worked the material and within hours the pillows and couch "softened" and fluffed. I also rotated the couch per the instructions and laid it on its side, front and back to work the material and corners on all sides. FINAL VERDICT: I love it. Yes, it is FIRM. But firm like a firm memory foam mattress, not firm like an under-padded chair. There are springs on the bottom which contributes to a genuinely bouncy effect. The side and back pillows are puffed but firm as well but these are for support- not cuddling so I believe one should add soft throw pillows/blankets if needed. PERSONAL TIDBIT: I think this color green coupled with the textured material looks more elevated than the shiny, fluffy corduroy styles that are dominating the market. I have 2 cats and to my horror one immediately jumped on the couch and did the nail sharpening thing on it but the material never caught on her nails. And because its not that shiny polyester static nightmare, cat hair is not clinging to the sofa! I plan on taking my steamer to the wrinkles now that its officially done expanding but tbh I don't even notice them! ... show more

**UPDATE** 11/8/2025** I’ve had this couch for over a year now & it is still holding up the same as I set it up. I LOVE THIS COUCH! Let me say, I rarely write reviews. But, this deserved a quality review so others have a little insight. I’ve had this couch for about two months now. I have spent countless hours looking at this couch & the similar ones listed here on Amazon. I read all the reviews on each, looked at photos, etc & decided on this one. Having young ones I really didn’t want a boxy, heavy, hard couch that they’d eventually hurt themselves on. The shipping was delayed twice due to no fault of the seller. The seller was very quick to respond to my concerns & kept me updated. I’m glad I took the chance & bought this couch. Two packages. I let it expand two days, no sitting, then minimal for the next week. I will say I was a little worried at first, but it expanded beautifully. In some areas the fabric wasn’t fully taunt but, is to be expected on an expanding couch & have seemed to “unwrinkle” with use. I have some upholstery knowledge (marine upholstery & covers) and figured this would be the case. I’m on the smaller side and the couch doesn’t sink at all. (5’2, 130lbs.) Husband 6’2, 300lbs & he has minimal sinkage and says it feels extremely firm & comfortable. Being that he is taller, the height is not an issue for him whatsoever. Thickness is great. He told me not to buy this couch that it would be rubbish— now I can’t get him off! Sleeping on this couch is also no issue. It is extremely comfortable. Honest review! Had this couch for about 6mo now. Very stylish, it fluffs up super well after unpacking the green color is perfect. Stains seep thru super fast since it’s foam material so beware with what color you choose. Dark green no stains visible at all. BACK/NECK SUPPORT NOT THERE AT ALL. this is a low profile couch so you can’t really lay back on it and rest your head. Sleep quality is pretty good tho, it’s firm but comfortable. The most severe hip pain I’ve ever experienced comes from this couch it’s hard and with no base becomes even harder. I gave birth 3 months ago and it’s made the pain even worse than before I’ve had to start going to PT just to correct the damage this couch is doing to my hips I don’t have the money to replace it currently but every time I get up I feel like my hip is breaking down not by this couch is you have weak hips or need comfortable couch ! ... show more

Super easy to set up: just unbox, unroll, and carefully cut the shrink-wrapping off. It says to allow up to 7 days to fully expand the foam- ours did it in less than 48 hours. Its got a sturdy firmness that I didn't expect from an all-foam couch, but it was a nice surprise. The best part: there are NO HARD SPOTS. No stubbed toes or banged shins! This is also a great couch for pet people, as it has no inner workings for them to get hurt by or stuck inside of. The back rests of the couch are wide enough to accommodate cats and small dogs. The boxes are heavy but I was able to get them in the house by myself!! Set up took less than 5 minutes but make sure to read the packaging. It inflates FAST! Shipping got here a week before I anticipated which kinda caused a hassle but was one million percent worth it! It’s super soft to the touch, firm but comfortable. Support is there and its color is spot on! Super functional! Keep in mind it rests on the ground and is only two ish feet in height. It’s a low couch but fit too perfectly. I saw other reviews that mentioned pieces came crushed and never fully “inflated” and went ahead and purchased anyway. It did come in two big boxes that were shipped separately so I received them on different days. The top corner on one side remains crushed in even after weeks and patting/fluffing. There’s a card in the box that says if there’s anything wrong reach out to manufacturer first before returning. Well I did that and they did respond initially offering a $100 discount when I asked for a replacement of just that one side. I asked for clarification on what they meant by discount as I have no intention of ever buying a product from this company in future and hoped they meant a partial refund but they stopped responding which is very disappointing. Aside from the crushed corner the couch itself is very firm and sturdy and needs to be broken in which I hope means it’ll last awhile. Another thing is the only thing keeping the two sides together is big Velcro straps that go under the couch which makes configuring it into the square not very easy since you have to flip the whole couch up to remove the Velcro. The color is a deeper sage color and the texture is soft so I don’t have any complaints other than the damaged product and bad customer service. It’s a bit small. I’m 5’4 and my feet hang off the chaise part if I lay down but that can be calculated before purchase so that’s a purchaser error not manufacturer, just noting for others that need IRL examples. It’s an ok purchase overall. Photo shows the height difference of the opposite corners side by side and there’s like a 2inch height difference. Not worth the hassle of returning but for being over $600 I think the complaint is warranted. ... show more

This is just another long winded review to help you know what you are getting into. Some of the complaints of other reviews happen to be what I like about this sofa. For example, the firmness. Some report it as being as hard as concrete. While this is quite an exaggeration it is indeed firm and that is what I like about it and I guessed that it would be firm by looking at the pictures of people sitting on it. The firmness helps me move around on it and stand up with having to fight with mushy cushions that I have sunk into. The firmness allows me to actually set a cup of coffee next to me (which really isn't the smartest idea) and it doesn't tip. What I didn't realize when I looked at the pictures was how short and nonsupporting the back is. You can't just sit, lean back and be done. You have to move and adjust the included back pillows to provide some kind of support and it really isn't enough. I find myself using an extra couch pillow (which, of course, she has many of) to get settled in for movie. The floor size of this is a decent size for the TV room and it doesn't slip around sitting on carpet. I can imagine that it would slippy slidey all over the place on a hardwood floor. Being on carpet, I don't even use the included velcro straps to hold the halves together. The arms and backside have a very wide surface which pleases the cats very much. I have yet to see any wear or damage from those heathens. Now for the irritating part: I've had mine for over a month now and it still has not fully expanded. Their instructions say to tap it and slap it and thump it to help expansion. That just doesn't work. At this point, I don't know if it EVER will fully expand. I also need to mention here that the chase section expanded just fine and it looks good. The sofa part is still wrinkly and scrunched on the one end and after initial contact with Ovios, I don't expect any satisfactory resolution from them. When I ordered this and after I opened it up, one of my first thoughts was, how would a person return this? There would be no feasible way to box this back up and I'm sure that Ovios wouldn't front the expense of trucking this back. I pretty much knew from the start that this was a gamble purchase. I got a good price on it so I'm not too disappointed but if I would have paid full retail, I would be raising a fit. Some reviewers reported that it had a smell and physically made the world sick. I did not notice much smell from this other than the expected plastic shrink bag. Whatever smell that was there dissipated faster than the sofa expanded. 2 humans, several cats, and one dog did not get any kind of sick. I can recommend this sofa for recreation rooms, kids rooms, apartments and such. This is not a serious sofa for a living room where you would probably want more of a quality environment. If something happened to this sofa, I would not shed a tear, I'd just find something else. I will consider this to be a disposable item. Last note: there is no space under this sofa. It rests flat on the floor. That means that cat toys and chap-stick will not roll under to get lost but if you use a TV table that is supposed to slide under, no it won't. ... show more
