  • Amazing speed and detail but don't treat as PLA
Color: 04-gray
I consider this a specialty niche filament, but what it does it does very well. That is speed and detail. I'm still stunned at the projects I've shot out with this filament without a single failure all at 166% the speed I usually print at. Projects that were fairly risky. For Bambu users that's full Ludicrous speed with no noticeable drop in quality. Turns a 9 hour project into a 5 and a half hour project. I've printed average detail models at regular speed and compared and can't tell the difference. It has some issues to account for though. 1) Adhesion is severe, sticks harder than PETG. I dedicate a plate to PETG printing with a hairspray coating. Spraying the plate usually lasts me 3-5 PETG prints. With this filament I have to respray every print or chunks will rip from the print. Textured PEI. 2) The resulting print is rather brittle. It likes to shatter rather than bend. Still holds up to a drop but I only use this filament for decorational prints. 3) I don't treat this as PLA. It's unique. If you try and mix it with other regular PLA's or other brands it won't work well or at all. ... show more

  • Fast, Smooth, and Reliable Prints!
Color: 01-plaster White
This Turbo PLA is awesome! Prints fast with great layer bonding and no clogs. Perfect for high-speed printing and super consistent flow and minimal stringing. Definitely my go-to filament now.

  • Prints perfect, but not usable: poorly wound/tangles
I finally found a project that I wanted to print with the high speed pla marble filament. I.was printing at a high speed and it was printing perfect. I was so impressed that I was looking at what else I could order from Overture, but then I check in on my print job and at 3.5 hours in on a 7.5hr print job and my extruder was sitting 3" above the object with no filament coming out. I checked the filament spool and there was a bad tangle. I stopped the print job removed the tangle, and noticed how poor the spool was wound. This filament prints perfect and at high speed, but if it tangles halfway though and you have to start from scratch again, then there's no point in using this filament. Especially, since now because of the tangle you wasted a good amount of material, you may have to buy more, like in my case. So why use a filament that will fail, cause you to restart from scratch, and cost you more money? ... show more

  • Sticks too good in a bad way. Un avoidable no matter what I do
Color: 01-plaster White
Overture is good filament and I’ve used a lot of it. I bought 3 rolls of this turbo stuff I’m now stuck with because I opened all of them thinking they were good. I do not recommend this stuff. It sticks to the build plate and don’t want to come off. It sticks tooo good. It rips the bottom layers of all my prints off no matter how careful I am trying to get it off the plate. I’ve never had this problem with any filament and I’ve used a lot of different brands and this is with a flexible build plate. Bed temperature don’t matter either. I lowered the temp and had the same problem. I let it cool off overnight and still the same problem. Besides the bottom layer being ripped off every time the rest of the print comes out really good. It just sticks too good. I couldn’t imagine trying to get it off of a solid glass plate. If I didn’t open them all I would return them. Stay away from this stuff. ... show more

  • Pros and cons
Color: 00-black(2 Pack)
I have very mixed feelings about this product. For starters I’ve been testing the quality of this filament for about 2 months now on my A1 with a 0.4 nozzle. Pros: • Easy to print • Very little stringing • Very nice glossy finish on the exterior of prints. • very nice surface adhesion and top surface smoothness Cons: • When printing with multi color prints this filament has a very hard time sticking to other colors and brands of PLA • This filament does break easily when assembling parts, but do consider it’s PLA and not PETG Overall this filament is a good choice for printing single color prints for high quality models and beginners. ... show more

  • Prints nice, but EXTREMELY BRITTLE; Do not buy for multicolor printing.
Color: 01-plaster White(2 Pack)
Overture’s regular PLA and PLA+ is incredibly good, but their Turbo PLA is awful. For high speed printing, this works great if you’re sticking with one color. However, for multicolor printing, I do not recommend. Every print I’ve had with this filament has essentially self destructed. The print breaks as I’m pulling it off my PEI sheet on my P1S. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Go with Elgin Rapid PLA+ instead; I have not had issues with that. ... show more

  • It's okay for some things, but brittle.
Color: 00-black
As far as high-speed materials goes, this one is right in the middle. The layer adhesion is okay, but sometimes I find weaknesses that are not present in the same print with other high-speed materials. That leads to the second problem that is adjacent to the adhesion; brittle prints. I've had more brittle prints with this material than any other name-brand PLA that I've ever used. I believe that's the failure of Overture to make a material that performs like other high-speed PLA or PLA Plus brands. In their attempt to formulate this material to work at higher speeds, the sacrificed some of the strength of the material. The odd thing is that I, like others, have also encountered issues with over-adhesion to textured build plates. It seems that Overture is aware of the strength issues and added something in an attempt to increase adhesion. The overall quality of a finished print is there, as expected from Overture, but the reduced strength makes this more of a prototyping material than a final product material. It seems that Voxel PLA still has them beat, even though Overture has become more aggressive on price. I'll still stick with Voxel PLA for my filament source. ... show more
