Color: Silk Neon Green
This is my second roll of PLA purchased from Overture, and my second Silk finish roll as well. I first purchased the silk blue and adored how it looked. I ended up curiously wandering back to Amazon to look into the other Silk colors Overture offers and fell in love with the vibrancy of the neon green. Itβs just as vibrant and beautiful in person, which is a huge plus since you never really know how something is going to look until you actually receive it. I use a pretty typical 0.4 nozzle size with mostly default settings on my Neptune 3 Pro, and this filament does an awesome job. Doesnβt clog, extrudes like a dream. Iβm still an amateur to printing but Iβm so glad to experiment with printing and learning more about my hobby without having to fight a tricky filament. Definitely worth buying! I plan on getting other silk colors in the future.

In the past I have had good luck with other Overture PLA filaments. Sadly this spool of brown gave me a bunch of trouble with it tangling / jamming on the spool When I finally used/wasted several grams I had good success with a rather complicated and sizable item I printed

Always have liked Overture Filament - Good Stuff. This order, however, came on a spool with fiber board end pieces that are thicker and therefore don't ride on my filament support well. I had to modify my spool holder so that it would roll better; I prefer plastic spools that are smooth throughout the center of the spool.

Great brand to buy 3D filament. The only thing is the recycled spool. If you get the cardboard spool keep in mind that itβs a tad flimsy. So if you need to store your filament, it keep it in the box for extra protection.

So far it has printed great. Color is nice and accurate to the picture. No bubbling or stringing. It wasn't wrapped around the spool as neatly as some other brands, but it hasn't been tangled yet, so it doesn't matter too much. This is my first time buying from Overture, but it certainly won't be my last.

Overture has been my go to value PLA filament source. Works great out of my Prusa MK3S with stock PrusaSlicer settings, and so far has run with no problems. It's as easy to print as any other PLA, and prints come out looking perfectly fine.
