Overture did a really nice job with this product. It prints great and they even included a measure/calibration guide and an adhesion mat. As far as the filament I only experienced a little stringiness but I think that is more due to my printer and its settings than the filament itself. Overall I would buy this product again. The included mat is PERFECT for FDM printing. I was constantly having to apply purple glue stick and tweaking the Slicer profile of my models in order to prevent adhesion failures. Since I used their adhesive mat, I have had zero non-sticks in over 15 prints so far and I was able to print without adding adhesion steps in my slicing software. Its a small amount I know, but I am not wasting filament on building that into my prints, but I think it adds up over time. I can only speak to their grey color but if you are looking for a good product with some nice extra features, then this might be right for you as it was me. ... show more

used it on my first 3d printer, an A1. works great! nice shade, but Bambu Lab does not have it in its filament setup, so be cautious of that. the size is pretty good, printed the scraper in the files the A1 has, and used 37 grams. does not look like it lost anything! the adhesion is great. easy to pop off! but for $20? I don't know... its pretty good. ... show more

I run this filament almost exclusively in my Bambu machines, and it’s never given me a single issue. Prints come out flawlessly every time. I’m pretty sure they treat the edges of the paper spool—it feels a bit tougher—which helps keep fibers from shedding and gumming up the printer. Update: Still love it ! ... show more

    • Very nice Filament, but with one flaw

I have used a few Overture brand filaments and have been very happy with the results. The black PLA prints were very nice, I had great bed adhesion. the problem I have is the filament broke a couple of times while printing. When I examine the breaks they look as though there were problems in the extrusion process that created gaps or lesions in the filament. When I look at the ends I can see that over half of the broken area is black (Indicating no stress) while the remaining part is white (Indicating stress). This tells me that the filament had a partial crack or gap at that spot and when the print head moved about it flexes the filament and creates a stress point at that gap. The remaining small bit that is attached has all the bending force concentrated on the small portion causing it to fatigue and break. I'm hoping I just got a spool with a few bad spots and the rest will be good. ... show more

Printing on a Creality K1 SE @ 300 mm/s and even though this isn't marked as a "rapid PLA" I've had no issues at that speed with clogging or stringing. It's affordability and color variety makes it versatile. I highly recommend it. The attached picture was done in Overture Rock PLA.

The Space Gray is probably my favorite gray filament to use, and Overture has always produced good prints. The spooling appears sloppy at time times, but it's never been tangled or caused any issues. It's still my primary choice for filament.
