The media could not be loaded. We ordered this recliner as it says it can handle weight up to 400 lbs. I weigh 385. I sat in the recliner three times. The third time the footrest would not latch. We called Amazon who directed us to the seller and guaranteed that we could return the product. In contacting the seller, they did not want us to return it and kept trying to get us to take 30% off the price of the recliner not including shipping as a refund. When we insisted on returning it, they then asked what I would want in a refund and to keep the recliner. I told them the recliner is broken and the frame was bent we wanted to return it. They then wanted pictures (the frame was bent and the foot latch not latching ) and in checking on shipping it could have cost us even more to ship it back unknown if they would give a refund or accept the shipment as they kept insisting we not send it back. Amazon was of no further help. Therefore, we just settled and said we would take half of the cost of the recliner, including the shipping cost, as a refund and we would keep this recliner. We are now storing it but it is completely nonfunctional as a recliner. We wired the footrest closed and it is a good soft recliner chair, but it doesn't recline. I would never buy from this seller again. In their final email response back to me confirming a refund of the half, at the end of the final email, the rep said "Have a nice life." That didn't sit well with me. The crappy handling of a broken recliner in less than a month, and the attitude of the seller, I would never have any business dealings with this company again. Good luck if you take a chance on this recliner. Attached is a video of the bent frame and the footrest latch that has nothing to latch on to. FYI I would give them zero stars or no stars if that was an option.

This chair is priced perfect for my fat a**, I break recliners on a yearly basis. And so far for being 1/3 or even 1/4 the price of my last lazy boy I bought on "sale". This chair is doing fine and is cozy. It not perfect but I can afford like three to four of these for that last chair that broke within a year. So far I haven't had it long and I love it. We'll see what happens in a year. If it holds up longer it will be better than the lazy boy

When the box arrived it was a little beaten up, but because of its' weight, containing both bottom and back parts, it's a bit heavy and uneasy to maneuver around. All in all it was fine. I was moving in a month so I didn't unpack it until the move. After putting it together it was very comfy, minus the Velcro I could still feel inside of the arm rests. After a week it seemed more difficult to recline fully. Then even harder to get back to regular position to close it. But I can deal with that. Then while just sitting, and sliding my butt back into the full recline, the right side arm rest just seperated and now dangles there. I barely touched the thing. Reading the reviews, some people had better experiences. Wish I was one of those. It's not a cheap chair. Sat in it a total of 15 times since putting it together. Boy do I feel dumb. Should've saved for a better one. *Update- The seller has contacted me and is willing to send me a replacement chair at no cost, so long as I find a way to get rid of the broken one. Very unexpected but very cool how they responded. Will update with new review when/if new chair arrives. **Update #2- the seller has been true to their word and the chair has arrived in normal half beaten box shape. Contents were just fine tho, and so far, the chair came together clean and does all the things it says it should. Thank you to the company for doing right with the first bad chair! Let's hope it has a long life! Or longer life.

I'm going to cut right to the chase. This chair is a piece of junk, period. I was looking for a chair that could hold some weight seeing as I am a bigger person. I also thought the phone holder was cool because we rarely have an open TV I can watch and usually follow some creators on You Tube via my phone. When it arrived I was surprised at how light it was, but quickly found out it is made out of cheap material. The chair basically wants to lay back as soon as you raise the leg rest. It is hard to sit up straight when the leg rest is raised. Then the chair has to be in a near perfect position before you can lower the leg rest. After about a month of use, the phone holder simply just fell off while I was watching You Tube on my phone. Literally, fell off. After inspection, the screws holding the cup holder on had simply stripped out of the cheap material that was holding it. Then came issues with the leg rest, I had noticed a clunking noise becoming noticeable when I would lower the leg rest. It was like metal on metal knocking together. Then when releasing the leg rest, it would become stuck and pop loose. After further inspection, the metal mechanism on one side of the leg rest had bent inward. This put the whole mechanism in a bind and eventually would get so bad that the leg rest would not lock in place went trying to put it down. Customer service was decent, it just took a little time to get a refund. They kept offering a new chair to me, but I refused as I was not going to be burned again. They ask me to contact their support team to be instructed on how to "properly lower and raise the leg rest." Really? Really!? Fact is this, this chair is not quality. Just typical junk from overseas, it should not be rated for any weight even near 400 lbs. Maybe 200 lbs? It's basically only used now for my dog to sleep on.
