Now that everything is assembled, I can honestly say I love this chair. When the first box arrived, I thought parts were missing. After contacting the seller, I was told the shipment actually included two boxes, but there was no indication on the packaging that another box was coming. The second box arrived two days later. Since the instructions recommend waiting 72 hours after opening the vacuum-sealed cushions, waiting for the second box delayed being able to fully assemble and enjoy the chair. It would have been very helpful if the first box had been labeled “1 of 2” so I knew another package was on the way. During assembly we also ran into a small issue where one of the panels appeared to only have screw holes on one side. My husband ended up removing a few upholstery staples and pulling back the fabric slightly to discover that the other screw holes were actually hidden underneath the upholstery. Once we uncovered them, the rest of the assembly was quick and easy. Now that it’s finished, this chair and ottoman are beautiful and very comfortable. The fabric is a soft brown chenille that looks great in my space. It’s so comfortable that my dog and I both fell asleep in it! The ottoman also has storage and can easily hold a twin sheet set, pillow, and blanket if you wanted to set it up as a bed. I haven’t tried using the chair as a sleeper, since that wasn’t my reason for purchasing it. I bought this chair for my “she sanctuary” so I could relax and unwind after work, and it’s perfect for that. Aside from the confusion about the two boxes and the hidden screw holes, this is a wonderful chair and I’m very happy with it.

I am very pleased with this purchase. While the delivery fee was hefty, it did come in two large boxes that the delivery truck needed to back into my driveway for, so it felt justified. All of the materials were packed well. The instructions were very clear for assembly. It took me longer than I originally anticipated, but was easy to understand, the holes all lined up and pieces were easy to identify. It does say to use two people for a couple of steps and with some awkwardness I was able to assemble it completely independently. Once together it is pretty sturdy. Comfort wise, it is a soft material. The seat itself is firm but not unpleasant. I have not tried the lay back feature but upright it is easy to snuggle up in. I love the side pockets for remotes or books. Similarly the storage ottoman is great for blankets and other items. The pink color was prettier than I thought it would be. It looks darker than the product photos in mine due to lighting but I would say the prod photos are pretty true. It is the perfect addition to my reading book. I can sit here and read for hours in comfort.

The media could not be loaded. I wouldn't recommend this chair. Now that I've finally got it built, it's just uncomfortable. The backrest is unsteady, so you can't plop down on it. When you lower the back to convert it into a daybed, it's on a slope because the backrest cushions are so thin and flat. Truly unusable in that form. My cat likes the ottoman, but that's really all it has going for it. I would not buy this again. I'm sure returning it would be a pain in the butt and that's how they make this work. The other issue is that one of the included parts, the recliner mechanism, didn't line up with the backrest. The company offered to send a replacement part which was going to take up to 17 days to get here. Didn't want to have a pile of chair parts here for that long, so I bought tools to fix it. This cost me more than the $60 refund they gave me. Overall not pleased, and confused by the positive reviews.
