First off I am not a paid reviewer or someone that got this for free. It is disappointing that some Amazon reviews are now suspect. I have had this headset for just two days so this is simply my initial impressions and they are very positive. I found pairing to my LG G3 smartphone, NEXUS 10 tablet, and Dish Hopper to be straightforward and actually pretty easy. I thought the Hopper wasn't going to work but then bingo it did. There is a very slight delay in sound when watching TV on Dish but you have to be really focusing on their lips to notice it. Watching a movie using the DishAnywhere app that I had transferred to the phone had no delay in sound, just excellent. I have listened to streaming music and movies using the Amazon Prime music app, DishAnywhere, Google Music, and Pandora all excellent. Music that I have downloaded or in the cloud is just excellent and really doesn't seem to make a difference. Also purchased the case from August and it will protect the headset and it also is a good product. I like that you get a discount when you buy them together. PRO: 1. Sound quality is excellent. I downloaded a popular equalizer app to the smartphone to play with the sound and eventually just ended up turning off the equalizer. You can of course totally change the sound with the equalizer app and there were certain songs that it seemed like maybe they were better with the equalizer but overall I kept finding that comparing the song with and without the app and in different equalizer modes like normal, rock, dance, flat, or custom would generally sound just as good without the equalizer. Fun to play with and I am not that much a huge bass fan. Generally speaking I want my music to be as the artist intended it to be. I tried everything from classic rock, country, Hawaiian (if you are familiar with Darlene Ahuna I haven't heard her sound better), and it amazed me how I had forgotten just how good some voices really are/were like Johnny Cash or Elvis. Also along the sound comment is that I hear such small effects so clearly and the words to some songs that I always struggled with so clearly I find that really shows off the technology. Watching a movie that had a dog barking weakly in the background and I thought it was my neighbor coming over with his dog like he generally would. Took off the headset to get up to answer the door and then had to laugh that the barking had been part of the soundtrack. That was the moment I thought 'damn, good headset'. 2. Comfort. Yes it covers and fits totally over the ear and has an excellent comfort to it. You can wear it for longer periods without a problem but I wouldn't go so far as to say that you don't know it's there. 3. Price. Seems to me the price point on this headset is excellent. I have a 20 year old studio quality wired headset that is still phenomenal but to be wireless is compelling. 4. Noise Isolation. So this is a pro in one way simply because these cut out the world and you are in your own little cocoon. 5. Controls. Personally I don't find the controls confusing at all. The small owners manual was clear enough, CON 1. At this point the only con I have is that noise isolation. Even at moderate volume levels if my wife wants to get my attention she has to be in my vision. I would never wear these walking in a busy city unless the sound was at the lowest levels. The headset itself has such noise cancelling ability that you could easily not hear a car horn, siren etc. Someone knocking on your door? Forget it, you would never hear it. 2. Use as a phone. Although I have to say it's great to hear the phone call through both ears with the noise isolation it was great for me. The person on the other end said I was clear enough but there was a bit of a tunnel effect that wasn't as clear as if I was on the phone itself. With the mic where it is that makes perfect sense. If I have any longer term issues I will post them. Update: I have used these for over one year. Very happy. Buying one for a gift.

I bought these headphones a little over a year ago, and am only just now writing a review becasue I wanted to make sure they would still function properly after moderate, almost daily use. After a more expensive order for similar bluetooth headphones was taking way too long to be shipped from groupon, I became impatient and cancelled that order and decided to do some research (read lots of reviews) and ended up purchasing these headphones. Looks - These headphones are gorgeous. I bought the matte black version and the quality of the material and sturdiness of the build, coupled with the sleek design, makes these headphones standout. While in use using bluetooth, there is a very bright blue blinking light that may be a distraction (especially if you are in a dark room). If it bothers you, I think some thin electrical tape could fix that issue. It's definitely not a deal breaker though. Sound - I was a little worried because a few reviewers mentioned that these headphones tended to be on the more bass heavy side of the music spectrum. While I did notice some extra umph in my music, (I tend to like my music with a little more treble than most people I know) the sound wasn't muddled, but instead added a fuller sound to my listening experience. The sound quality is far better than most headphones on the market that are around the same price point. And besides, if certain songs aren't exactly to your taste, a music equalizer can quickly fix that issue. The sound is clear and crisp, and is overall well balanced. Very rarely do I feel the need to use an equalizer. Loudness - These things get LOUD! I like to be able to feel my music, so I turn the volume up (probably more than I should) and I am nowhere near maxed out. Even when I'm using them while on the treadmill I can clearly hear the music over the rumble of the treadmill, and the way they cover my ears helps cancel out some noise. Obviously at higher volume levels there will be sound leakage, but it is much less than other types of headphones, and is managable. Comfort - I have a big head, and lots of hair that adds to the largeness of said head, so at first the fit of the headphones was a bit tight, but thats to be expected of a new device. After a few uses the headphones start to get more flexable and fit more comfortably on your head, and of course you can adjust the size on the headphones so you will always have a perfect fit. After a year of constantly flexing them and even using them for running on the treadmill, they still fit perfectly and the cushion hasn't condensed. The parts that cover your ears rotate slightly so you can find the best listening postion and still feel comfortable after 4+ hours of constant listening. My other non-bluetooth headphones would start to make my ears hurt and give me pressure headaches after an hour of use, so that was a major bonus. Also, the added mobilty of not having any cords to rip your headphones off your head, or get caught on anything is awesome. For stationary use, the included cord works great but is a little on the shorter side, so be mindful of how you use your connected device. Bluetooth - The range is about what is described (33 ft) depending on if there are a lot of obstacles like walls and doors, or large furniture, it may be more or less. I have absolutely no issues with bluetooth connectivity while going from one room to another or down the hall. I have only used the NFC connection function once or twice, mainly because my headphones are super quick to pair with all the android devices I have connected to it, but I have never had any issues with it. I haven't tried connecting to any apple devices, but I assume it works the same and should connect easily. Functionality - Everything works flawlessly. Having the control buttons on the device makes listening to my music so much easier. I have mastered the art of using my bent wrist to increase/decrease volume and skip tracks while not having to rinse and dry my hands when I do the dishes. The battery lasts as long as advertised (10 hours minimum depending on use). I use my headphones for a few hours every few days so I only have to charge them maybe every couple of weeks. Charge time is about 3 hours from 0 - 100% battery (give or take depending on how fast your charger is). Microphone - I have only answered about 5 calls while listening to music and have noticed that sound quality is decent. It's neither amazing nor horrible so I cant complain. I purchased these headphones to listen to music, so I consider having the ability to use them to take calls while I am listening to music a bonus and not a requirement. To Answer the call, all you have to do is press the play/pause button and your call will connect. Press the button again, and it will end the call (I think, like I said, I don't use them for that purpose). ***Summary*** These are by far my favorite headphones I have ever used. For the price and amazing sound quality you get, these are THE BEST headphones you could buy. They are over a year old and still look brand new and work properly. I am very happy with my purchase. - Sturdy, good quality material and beautiful sleek modern design. - Bright blue blinking light that indicates Bluetooth is connceted might be distracting (easy to fix with some electrical tape). - Clear, full sound that can easily surpass safe listening volume (they can get very loud!) - They are adjustable so you will always have a comfortable fit for extended listening. - Perfectly placed easy-to-use control buttons that make listening to music much easier with bluetooth connected devices. - Option to use wired, or through bluetooth. - Quick to pair and connect to devices. Has a good range of about 33 ft for bluetooth connectivity (depends on your surroundings). - Good battery life (10 hours minimum depending on use). - Charges in 3 hours from a dead battery (give or take depending on how fast your charger is). - Microphone quality is decent, and call functionality works well.
