I like that it's Fender/Squier and the shape is interesting; of course, the electric part is a nice feature. It sounds good, but is made like a Glarry: tuners are pretty bad and fit/finish is wobbly. The nut is cut perfectly and I like the neck...BUT one of the frets is gouged and I'll have to replace it with the sound hole fret and re-crown/polish. The neck is also a little steep and I'll have lower the saddle about 1/4 inch and shave the front of the bridge. I don't care about Fender Play and a beginner would not be happy using this w/o a full setup. Without the partial refund, I'd be returning it. ... show more

I like the guitar, it's good, not great. I would say it's good for the cost. You can definitely get a better guitar for a few hundred dollars more, but if you're looking for a sub $200 acoustic electric with built-in tuner, you can't beat this. I didn't have any issues with it out of the box, it was even set up almost perfectly. I don't know if I just got really lucky with QA, or if most of them will be really good out of the box, for the price I'd say it's worth the shot. The only odd thing is the model number, it says, FA-Series model FA-25CE. Fender makes a 125CE model, this is very similar except for the headstock is slimmer. I can't find any info about a 25CE, only the 125. All in all I like it, it sounds decent, the tuner is nice, plugged in it sounds okay, I definitely recommend a nicer guitar for more money, but again you can't beat this value. I would say it's worth it for a beginner or a child who's interested, but you will most definitely be upgrading if you get serious about playing guitar. I only give it 4 out of 5 stars because it's not "perfect". Physically it's decent, it doesn't feel great, but it's not bad by any means. It definitely sounds like a sub $200 acoustic, but that's not really a bad thing for a beginner or someone what wants a beater acoustic. ... show more
