    • Beautiful bench that draws attention!
I bought this bench to draw attention to a garden space you see in my yard looking through an arbor. It really lights up the space well, and I've already received numerous compliments on it. My husband put the bench together for me on our back porch, which is level and flat, but the bench was not perfectly level with one foot after he assembled it, no matter how much he tried to adjust it. Since mine was going to sit on gravel, this wasn't a huge deal for us, but might be for others. The back and seat come as one piece, hinged, but it doesn't make a lot of sense as to why, since once you attach the sides, you can't fold the back down or anything. Just a note - the sides attach to the back of the bench, which means the back is not flush once the sides are attached. I am very pleased with the appearance of the bench, though it is not very comfortable to sit on. A cushion might remedy that if you live somewhere other than the southwest (cushions don't hold up to the sun and our high summer temperatures). If you're hoping for an aesthetically pleasing bench, I would recommend this one. ... show more

    • Putting together by myself wasn’t difficult if you save box to work on.
Use the box as your table to assemble so you don’t scratch the paint. Only tighten screws on each section half way until you get all screws in the section assembled 1st, then tighten completely. Pretty on deck and looks lovely. I purchased to replace a childhood toychest that I had a cushion seat made for years ago. This was the only bench that had the correct seat dimensions for the cushion which also matched the swing bed cushions and pillow Sunbrella material. ... show more

Cute as a button,but one side was warped. But its outside furniture so its not that big of a deal.

Bench is very pretty and easy to assemble, came really well packaged, but unfortunately it had some flaws that you would not expect from a brand new item. As soon as I got it out of the box I noticed there was paint chipped from some areas, the paint coating is actually lifting away in an particular area, there was some stains that looked like rust, There was also a small hole I believe is due to poor welding since is where the decorative scroll meets the bench. I did decide to keep the bench because I did not want to deal with hassle of returning it. But if I had to buy another bench I would not be purchasing this one. ... show more

This is one of the best purchases I've made. Sometimes you have this uncertain feeling when buying a product such as this on line. When I received this bench, I was blown away by the quality of this bench. It is very solid. Then I said let's set aside an hour to put it together. I looked at the directions, read them, and in 15 Minutes it was completely put together. It took me more time to get it out of the box than it did to put it together. The bench sections had paint chipped and/or scuffed up. Touched up all that so not to return such a large item. Only to find one corner on the top back section was bent, no help for that!!

    • Its not made of iron
It was very easy to assemble but it's not made of cast iron. It is very light probably steel.
