Latest update: after sending pictures to the company, they sent us a completely new swing. I raised the review to four stars. I would have given 5, but the issue should never happened in the first place. Customer service, however, was great an very easy to work with. I am hoping we don’t have the same problem with the replacement. It was easy, if awkward, to put together. Only awkward because of its size. We bought the blue and the color is very nice. The swinging motion is smooth and it feels sturdy. UPDATE: I reduced the number of stars, because we have had this swing for less than a month and it is rusting in several spots. Will post pics soon. I posted pictures. The rust is spreading and now it is staining our new patio. Less than a month! The seller has offered $30, but we can’t sit on it - it stains clothing. Don’t buy.

The product came without canopy or assemble instructions. I called and they emailed me the assembly instructions right away and promised to ship the canopy. This was good - BUT - the instructions were almost completely USELESS as the parts were all labelled wrong and the bolts were NOT corresponding to ANYTHING written on the instructions. It was up to me to figure out what went to what. I managed to do this because there are not that many pieces and I am pretty good at figuring these sorts of things out. Then, when I was bolting the first structural piece to one of the base pieces (an almost impossible task due to the design of the parts) the bolt immediately cross threaded because it is virtually impossible to align the pieces while assembling. This rendered the entire structure unfinishable and the swing unusable before I even had the first two pieces together.. This is a shame because it really does look like a very sturdy and well built product. They issued me a refund right away no questions asked. I feel conflicted leaving such a bad rating because the support and the product, if it were not impossible to assemble, actually ARE high quality. It's just a TERRIBLE design for end user assembly - I mean truly TERRIBLE! I am no handy man, but I have assembled dozens of things from furniture to full blown framing and construction of multi family housing. I know how to build things and use tools. This is a HORRIBLY designed item for assembly. The odds you will do the same thing I did are very high based on the way this thing goes together on a piece that is critical to the structural integrity of the unit. The curvature of the pieces, the clumsiness of them due to the weight and size of them makes it almost impossible to properly align the two pieces in question so the bolt will insert properly. Cross threading these two structural pieces is almost a certainty. One that happens the whole swing can NOT be assembled further! How do I rate the product in light of this ? You tell me! Like I said the quality of the materials is excellent. The customer service is excellent. The design is flawed and now I have to spoon feed all these big metallic pieces to my garbage collector or PAY to have it hauled off to the junk yard.

So far we love this swing. Like others have said it did come with several dings and dents. BUT it seem very sturdy, lovely, a decent quality for the price. We are pleased with it. Just wish it didn’t have dents and scraps. UPDATE: all those dents and scrapes are now rusted out and leaking rust all over. This happened within 3 months time and the swing squeaks dispute being oiled. Still a decent swing BUT not sure how many years we will get out of it if this is already happening and we have only had it in 3 months. It still rusts despite being covered in weather.

Swing definitely holds 3 adults and feels sturdy and comfortable. At first we were missing a piece, contacted seller and they sent the piece out to us. Assembly of entire swing does not take long and the seats are nice and cool in warm weather. Comparing to similar products like this one best because of sturdier feeling.
